He doesn't have all autos.

OP, if you were under the impression I was telling you to mainline your autos, don't. You will never have enough time.

But I think I said it earlier in this thread (if not, it's in another one) with Autos, you just don't have time to develop the plant.

I haven't read @str8smokn link yet, but I will. I don't know jack about autos. All I know is, I've grown about 15-20 of them. & I've topped all but two at least once with no problem. You just gotta get there fast. Whether it's the "good" thing to do or not, I don't know, but it can be done, I do it all the time.

@Junk I'm only on my 3rd Auto ,but I've just read and been told not to top for they do not have time to correct itself . Just trying to lead in the Best direction with little stress to plant.
you could probably get better results if you just LST them junts, instead of topping.

I've never tried it. All I'm saying is it can be topped. This last one I grew was the first time I just left the plant to it's own devices.

I'm not refuting you. I've read much of that link you posted, probably the most of any link anyone has ever posted. He seems to know his stuff.

I meant it in the exact wording, & nothing outside of the literal. It can be topped, But you have to hit it early.

Whether it's the best technique for yield or quality I don't know. I'm operating on assumptions & habits, which often = ignorance.

Totally off topic reply, but this just made it into my signature. Best fucking quote I've read in a while.

If you had them under a low wattage CFL, & then threw them under a 600w hps, you are changing their "metabolism," so anything that doesn't look detrimental should probably work itself out in a week.
