I put my cuts straight to dirt. 9/10 usually root in a week. I also put them almost in dark so thay don't concentrate on photosynthesis. Domes help too to keep them moist.
Keep it green!

i took a branch off right as it was about to open up and stuck it in a cup of h2o with foil.i check it and change the water every day . this is the 1st time I've tried this. i only put it on the counter for the pic. i have it by a window . i usually isolate the chosen male, collect pollen, and then kill asap.Thats a pretty crafty idea! Hats off!....So help a brotha out..So you have that male rdy to put out pollen right? But its in a reg cup on your counter?...Did you grow him normally then when he was ready to "blow his load" you just brought him in the kitchen? Im just wanting ideas on how to catch some pollen without risking any other females around...thanks
Great idea !!!for pollen, I suggest one of these...

There's always one that has to out do the others , 2 day old tall arse sprout .
I do it both ways depending on my laziness of that day. I do have better luck with some sort of dome but have been running no dome lately and done fine. Best way I found was a bucket cloner tho. Just don't have mine upIs there anyone out there that do not use domes for cuts ? I have tried with no luck !!! A fellow grower on other hand swears by it !! He says faster rooting and heartier clones ???
I don't see how ?? They always wilt on me if the humidity drops too much !!
Not looking to change my method up just curious? ???
I don't use domes if I'm not using my easy cloner but I keep my r/h in my room high especially with light on . I am starting to have issues with my ex cloner things just don't wanna run clean anymoreIs there anyone out there that do not use domes for cuts ? I have tried with no luck !!! Cheers toaster ive used the diy bottle domes before haha good shout broToaster79 post: 1484807 said:I use domes (1.5L plastic bottles cut in half) but only for the first two or three days than take them off. I remove them maybe 7-10 times in this two to thre days for a few seconds to give them some tresh air and spray the domes.
