I am familiar with slf-100....firs,t most of the time I am just asking questions out of curiosity bc i am always thinking of stuff, not bc I am changing my products or setups every week...lol..I just see an ad or read something and am curious what real experienced growers such as you guys think about it...Also if u want enzymes I'd go 2 or 3ways. I agree with spit but I'm now using a product called slf100. The owner sent me a ton of it. I'd gladly send u a couple of bottles. It's marketed as an enzyme but it's actually a couple different bacteria. It does all the things an enzyme does and then some. The third is sst. U can use any seed at any time and u have the cheapest but most effective enzymes available not to mention u made them ur self. Last if u are going to go with a regular enzyme why change from biocozyme? It is by far the best bang for ur buck bottled enzyme available. Just curious.
bc it would die outside in the winters...for 20yrs its been on an indoor deck with a/c and heat and walls of windows for light...Am I missing something here @Lazerus00 ? why dont ya stick it in the ground? I got shitty native sandy as hell fl soil here, just a bit of ammendments and stuck palms, figs, citrus trees, etc straight into the ground after shaving down rootballs. Aint nothing like a big healthy native root system imo. And agree with all the above, if you want the cheapest enzyme thats packaged, concentration strength wise, itd be pool enzyme, but sst is actually cheaper nominally, and bottled enzymes often have other bacteria and what not, so it aint really 1 to 1, I suggested my option because its the least labor intensive, easiest to do if you dont have anything on hand..
Only get one set of eyes brother, I broke my pair so I gotta get some new ones ASAPWell...I finally broke down and bought a pair of the Method Seven glasses! I absolutely LOVE them!! They really work too!! Here's a pic I got just by putting them up in front of my phone cam!

Wow...they REALLY do help you to be able to work better and spot probs earlier!! Not to mention that the UVC rays (that are naturally filtered by the atmosphere outdoors) are at very dangerous levels under intense HID/HPS lighting!! Gots to wear dat protection boyz!! Best, Max
Nevermind...found a place....but now I'm curious...what is the greenstone product Zyme comparable to? Would Biocozyme be
That sucks man! I had a friend who brought friends in last year ... I would be cautious. I imagine you would separate from the ladies.. hmm . Unless u had a spot that would be shaded more . ? Not much help eh. Good luck and positive vibes!Ok guys I have a question for all of you.
I have three GSC plants that are around 4-5weeks into flower that are hermies,I am flowering at night 7:00pm-7:00 am so if I move those outside and continue flowering will the time change stress them out?
I will just move them outside at 7:00 am in the morning and continue their light schedule until 7:00 at night and then just move in and out from 7:00 in the morning to 7:00 at night.
Should not confuse them since I do not interrupt the dark period ,is that correct?
I've always hear it's the dark period that's important,so if one day they get 24 hrs of light and then back to str8 12/12 it should be cool..
That would just be some extra bud I could hash with if it gets seeded, I have picked sac's off already but don't want to risk it.
Any input would help.
STR8
Oh whoops lol @Lazerus00 sorry bro, totally forgot rule 1, what works for me might not work for you... Totally forgot youre up north, and our winters here are like the summers up there.. Sorry, carry on without me.
@tobh protip: if they're super stiff, and thick, I suggest needle nose pliers wrapped in duct tape. I use em and they snap, bend and train even the most resistant bitches. Squeeze until you feel the pressure let up, then a slight rolling, twisting, motion with slight pressure will get em crooked as a mothafuckin politician
Who can point me to a reputable haze cross without long flowering time and crazt stretch but still retains that hazy metallic smell and taste? What exactly does nl5 taste and smell like?
I think a good place to look would be @cannarado CO Flo x SSH, should keep most of the haze/Sativa traits but it shouldn't be bad flowering time wise.Who can point me to a reputable haze cross without long flowering time and crazt stretch but still retains that hazy metallic smell and taste? What exactly does nl5 taste and smell like?
Yes indeed it is.@SeaF0ur oh so that's where ya been? Can't say I blame ya, view is B E A UTIFUL bro!
@jumpincactus is that hammer's work? Looks like some kill bro
Ya I hear you on that. Ya pic was yesterday and that was only day 30 since flip. They have 40 to go. Pretty sexy lookin for sure. Am amazed at the level of frost so early on. The breeder did some fine work with this cross. You have a seriously sexual looking girl there, and only 30 days with that kind of frost?!
Excuse me while I go change my boxers...
Oh no doubt @Max Frost I use my fingers when I can, especially on secondary branches, that gap is the sweetspot. I just have a tendency to overveg a ton, and have to go in wrangling 3' main stalks, when I got 5+ per plant, and 15 plants full of these, along with having to train the secondary branches, I like to use the pliers. I can supercrop all the secondaries by hand, but I got some big berthas that I repeatedly hit the same spot with the knuckling, so for those I like to bust out the pliers and go to town, once you get feel for it, the learning curve is about the same as by hand. takes me about 30 min a day every other day to supercrop all these, I do 80% by hand.
You'd be scare of my outdoor supercroppers lol. Channel locks, with gauze and tape, currently on the wall of fame, thankfully no more outdoors here
Where is green goo genes sold at? @Max Frost
Oh and I only use the pliers to break the resistance of the stems, the actually twisting, bending motion is done by hand. Slight pop and relief of pressure, then go to town. I go in first with the pliers, hit everything I need to, then finish it all by hand. Oh and diggin those method 7's, I might need to grab a pair.. Super pricey, I just hunker down my straw hat real low and wear sunglasses, they seem worth it though
I personally use Grow1 glasses and @Tnelz uses Apollo and i can promise they are a definite and work just as good M7's. M7's imo are way to expensive , but i also agree with Max they are a must have for any growerbut would check into Grow1 or Apollo, grow glasses.I feel your pain bro. I run about the same count as you mentioned, & I'll have to admit...allot of my secondaries go undone!! Lol...might just have to give that one a try! Thanks for the tip! Would you mind elaborating on your pinching please? At what points are you doing it? When do you stop? Thanks bro! Continued good fortune to ya!
I'm really not sure. I've just been doing some testing for him & a couple of other breeders. I think he is going to be listed here on thc-bay very soon. You might pm logic. He could tell you exactly when the first drop here would be. Alternatively, you can pm the breeder directly (here also) @1973chemgrower. However...my guess is that Logic would have a better idea of dates and stuff tho.
They ARE pricey! However...now that I've used them a couple of days, I really consider them an essential grow room tool. As our friend pointed out earlier...we only get the one pair of eyes & the HPS puts out some dangerous UVC rays that normal glasses or sunglasses do NOT block since our atmosphere filters it for us naturally from the big HPS in the sky!! It has already helped me in identifying a plant that was a bit chlorotic. I would have NEVER seen that under the HPS without them until mucho damage had been done! Boom...they JUST paid for themselves! You can also find cheaper knockoffs starting at about $15 that will probably give some degree of color correction. I wouldn't rely on them for protection tho! Best of luck! Max
