No I'm taking legal actions and having the dog removed from the neighborhood. My kids are scared so that dog doesn't need to be around. Whether it is literally just removed or culled. I just want her removed because it's not the dogs fault it is the owners fault. This isn't his first dog that has been stalking and killing other people's dogs. My neighbor on the other side of us said he had a rottweiler that got a hold of his dog twice.. goes to show its the owner, not the dog. It just pissed me off because they never take their dogs with them or even for walks. They leave them in the house all day while they go to work, then come home and just put them in their back yard. The female just walks up and down the fence line stalking anything smaller than her. The male they have runs around entertaining himself with balls and sticks and stuff.Stumpy don't kill anyone's dog man, you feel however you felt when that dog was attacking yours and you were sure it was going to die. Should someone kill us for doing the same to the animal? And how would that family feel...you're destroying a bond somewhere that's going to hurt. I feel like they should pay any bills, and now buy a fence. You now see how the dog got into your fence so maybe fix that as well? Prevent it from happening again but not at the sake of its life. That's life man, if those dogs were wild it would happen that way, are lethalizing or whatever else is man made practices that are wrong. I don't believe in putting dogs down if they are mean. Just saying. Not criticizing, just would hate to see you post that you had the dog killed. I don't want to think about it.
I just gave ya'll the answer. That is where it originally came into pop culture. Along with 143 (It's the number of letters for that one) means I love you. Booty call is 269.
We used to get pages "410" , "420," "440" "497" = lb (97 upside down is lb) "418" is for an eighth...you get the picture.
It's not a police code in Cali or NY. & no other city at the time it became a thing, was big enough on the scene to make a difference. A million stories, but I was there. It's like a story about how the internet came about....I was there when it happened.
A universal time that people meet to smoke...or something else, c'mon, which sounds more believable. Earth Day is just a coincidence.

I dont think the utilization of a universal code makes it the original placing. Thats like saying "five-0" as a signal for the cops showing up was originated by skaters trying not to get a ticket or get rolled.
Cannabis has been around for a really really really really really Lonng time and i dont think, personally, regardless of how oldschool you are, that using a code makes it the point of origin.
Dude hits me up and asks for a short film, or a feature length film depending if he wante an eighth or a quarter back in the day. Doesnt mean i invented a code, or short films / what they mean for that matter. Just means we were utilizing a code that already existed to get our business on.
For all you know 100 years ago 4:20 is when all the farmers would meet up after work to blaze a fattie out of the homies bong and exchange stories of their cannabis cultivation.
Or it was the only way to discuss something secret in front of misses about a secret sesh in the woods across the first telephones.
The fact is, your not ever gonna find out where it originated. Like who the first person to say "gnarly" was. It is, and will always be, purely speculation.
Those boys in san rafael? They probably heard it in a movie and tried to take credit.
It's all in my opinion. But I saw it start to become a thing. The other options I've heard like Earth day, or the time people used to get together to smoke (not talking about your farmer example, some people actually say that's where it came from) makes no sense to me.
At the very least, I can tell you (imo) the pager thing is how it became popular. You would get a message on your beeper that said, "555-5555 420" or 440, 480, etc.
Where did the other little things like that get their start, or at least become popular, 143, 269, 420. It was with pagers, because that is how you would leave your message. There was no cell phones, text, etc. So when someone left you a message, they would often leave a code at the end. You would often see 911 at the end if you needed to call back asap. 911 was obviously already implemented in other ways.
What makes more sense to you...that a bunch of people, pre-internet, came up with a code like 420 to discuss mj on a landlinebesome people were arranging a universal time to smoke? Why would people do that. No matter how it was being used (hypothetically) back then, it still sounds an awful lot like someone just wants a 20 sack.
Much more logical to me is that during a time period where cell phones & internet did not exist, but many people carried around a device that allowed you to leave your phone #, & a short numerical message, it came to be widely used/accepted/known.
Does anyone who has been in the scene long enough know of the whole 420 thing being used before pagers became widely used? (mid 80's)I'd really like to know. Because if no one has any substantial proof, or persuasive argument that it existed before pagers....now the argument becomes "did it become a thing independent of pagers?" The answer to which is no. Me, & my whole crew all had pagers, all getting hit up with 420 all the time. All kinds of codes. My friend Lenny was 07, because upside down it looked like "L D" for Len Dawg. So if he was at a number I didn't recognize, he would leave that so I would know it was him. Another friend was 55. I would page my girl & just leave 143 to tell her I missed her.
People don't have to believe me, but unless someone can show me it was in use before pagers, I believe I witnessed it's entrance into pop culture
See how if you leave off the area code you can fit a 3 digit number in there...In my opinion, this is where it became known

I love u man. In a total hetero way. Hopfully people actually grasp the breath of that statement. In my cynical view we are like China during the height of the East India Trading Co. and opium wars. Subjugation happens easier and quicker when the population is already enslaved to addictive substances.
Another decade of heroin addiction and we'll get our Mao style street sweepers culling 50-60 million. Oh wait... Never mind....Who's winning the World Series again? Pass the potatoes

Okay I am deff way over this nonsense about where it came from! It most deff was around AND popular before pagers and beepers. My parents were using it in the 60s and 70s and so were their friends. I understand that in your area that it gained popularity with people your age getting beepers but it by no means was being invented then...
Moving on...lets bring the conversation back to growing...thats where the heart is! ;)
It's so crazy coming right from my outdoor grow into my indoor grow. The plants grow SOO much faster!! And I get it, they have full light for a LONG part of the day but still its crazy to see how much progress these lil guys are making each day! I'll be posting some updates soon but all 10 beans I layed are popped and growing vigorously! They are all on there 2nd set of true leaves, the 3 pointed ones....Positive Vibes Everyone!!
na, i just mean in general. like for how big they are no for only 1 week of growth i feel like it took 3 weeks outdoors to get the same growthSo, are you saying they grow more vigorously indoors than outdoors? Same cut?
No Sir looks like the kids will be playing inside this weekend because they didn't come yesterday and we have to wait for Monday to come for business hours for animal control to come get it. We went and seen Sandy today, she is on a morphine drip lol, so her pain is pretty well maintained. The town didn't take it away already?
Thats what i thought tooSo, are you saying they grow more vigorously indoors than outdoors? Same cut?
I wasn't sexting my friends...not all of them at the same time anyway ;)
She was so angry, it made her creative lol.
