this is the girl I through in the flower room. the other 2 small ones will be shaded a little bit, but they are almost done as well.

it's my attempt at a even canopy. just grew her out, cleaned her up and lst'd her over... I hope it works well. she actually looks pretty good from the top. @Junk

Well out of the many diff reasons i gave for my fully preggo tent i think the answer is deff 1 hermie...How do I know this for sure? Well, apparently i didn't know where to really look for these dicks or nanners bc just tonight i realized one of the 2 nightmare cookies is chock full o dicks....lol...its not really funny but i don't know how i was so stupid or so blind. None of them are on the top colas but every lower bud that was chilling in the center of the plant beneath the canopy had dicks ALL over them!!! How does that happen??? Since it was only one of the plants does it rule out human error? I just don't know what in the world i could have possibly fucking done to make that one plant hermie. I literally treat these plants as if they were my children. They get all the love and attention i can give. I would have thought that if hermies were somewhat commen in phenos of sin citys nightmare cookies i would have heard or read about it. So does that leave it as a freak pheno that was going to hermie no matter what or is it deff the grower ( ME ) that fucked up???

I've found that the hermie comes from genetics. Now there are things such as light stress and other factors that can and will cause certain strains to throw nuts. Now I don't considered that a true hermie, what a hermaphrodite is when a plant possess both a male and female part in one, ie. a dick and pussy in the same spot, that's a true hermie. Plants that try to reproduce via stress or the other factors are considered unstable, now that's not to say some of those aren't good canidates as some plants will naturally throw a nanner here or there late, late in flower.

What I'd do is now that you know which one did it and you have a clone of it I'd run it again and watch it very closely and see if it does it again, if it does time to move on. Sometimes if they aren't bad I've been able to pluck them early on and they never return and clones there after showed no signs. The line needs to be worked more to become more stable.

Sometimes it just happens... I've found a few strains that'll do that on lowers that dont get enough light...

oh wow, thank you so much! ...lol i prolly should have put more effort into looking up that info instead of always relying on y'all, but most of the time I try n do both...good well that makes me feel a lil better....deep down inside i was scared like maybe i am doing this HUGE thing wrong and don't even realize it....an unexpected tent full of beans makes you question your skills a bit....lol....seriously thou, thanks!!

IME over the last few years, every seed company breeding with chem/diesel/OG and now cookies is putting F1 gear out with 30-50% intersex rate. It's the nature of those genetics. gg4 hybrids will be the same, bet that.
Best bet is acquiring those cuts you're interested in and making your own crosses with males you select, or feminize the cuts and explore the resulting seeds. Such an approach really isn't much different than a lot of seed companies' modus operandi.

I don't notice a difference with flushing when you are pretty much organic (no bottled stuff) I've tried it...many, many times. I don't notice a difference.

But well cured bud vs uncured...I notice a huge difference. I think this is the place where most intermediates are screwing up now. Not curing the bud correctly...& that makes a huge difference to me. It just seems to hit me harder when it's cured right.

**Edit - I understand the obstacles in curing bud correctly, sometimes, we need the crop asap. But curing it properly is where it's at. You put all that work into growing a fine plant, only to smoke it in "less than fine" condition.

Feel free to tell me I'm crazy on this one...

I saw some of this go on on their site a while back I also.had a few tangerine power do this on the lowers when light wasn't hitting that spot honestly she/he was my top 3 favorite plants but got the axe because of its nutts. I Also agree with natural I tend to shy away from gsc and all her friends due to the amount of herms I've seen in her bloodline

I got roots on my ogkb2.0.... have been skipping cookie cuts until this one I'm gonna give a shot.
I can say that out of the dozens, if not hundreds, of glue crosses.... herming has not been any issue of importance...
for a twice over herm accident itself, she's been amazingly stable thus far...

@SeaF0ur that's what I've heard I also rooted a cut of the glue you blessed me with and stressed the shit out of her she did throw.a few naners nothing more than expected just a few like just about every strain I've encountered. @NaturalTherapy I'd gladly take all the glue crosses of your hands lol

Its irritating that "breeders" just take these "elite cuts" and cross em to everything they can get their hands on. Makes me wish seed companies were run by people who didnt think $ should be their first priority.

I blame cannabis breeders only to an extent. You've got to consider, masses love to hear "Sour GG" or "gorilla dog".

The laymans thinking is that crossing strawberry cough to blueberry will yield you a plant that tastes like a berry tart....

Get what I'm trying to say? Plants don't work like that, and a normal person shouldn't be expected to understand how genetics work. So you've got these pretty normal people, who have scored some extreme genetic libraries. They are doing the best they can understand...

It goes pretty far down a rabbit hole to truly breed plants. I am not sure how many breeders are actually doing it vs how many breeders are just putting out a pretty damn good product.

Just some rambling.....don't mind me.

Edit: And you cannot cannot forget about the laws that are really the biggest restricting factor.
