Oh yeah the scissor pic was just to show how sticky it really is.The scissors became a pain in the arse.Thats less than a 1/4 branch worth of trimming.

2x cmh in a 4x8 to flower, this was a pollenation run so I didn't prune/trellis like I would for production, and I wasn't going for a yield at all just happy plants. 12 in from canopy with no burn. I'd do 18-24" from canopy optimally.

so if i get these conversion kits is this gonna help my foot print. i plan to use these with my raptors. one in a 4x4 veg and another in 5x5 flower? should i wait and invest in a third one and have 2 in my 5x5? only reason i'd really invest is if changing the hood, doesnt do anything for my foot print.
You can't go by what the light companies post up for specs if you do not run their exact set up (hood, distance to canopy, bulb). I run 7x big kahuna hoods all with 315cmh. I can tell you this, I keep my canopy to hood height -1' if possible. This give me perfect results w/o any light bleaching or any bad issues.
@bankcee
I'd run 2x in a 5x5 if you have room. I run 3x in a 5x10, and 4x in an 8x12.
