We've grown these three photoperiod plants, and switched to short days about 2 weeks ago. We're getting colas forming but they're still small.
One option is remove all lower leaves, all branches that are never going to get enough light, and just keep some smaller leaves around the developing colas. That's what i mean by a hard prune.
What would you do with these plants now? Advice appreciated!
I would prune almost any branches with tips that are below 50% of canopy height - and remove leaves that are on the bottom 1/3 of the plant - as well as a few big fan leaves that block bud sites below
