To Top or to Fim?

So I’m into week 4 of my cabinet grow and just wondering whether I should top or fim these girls or should I just leave them. As of right now....

the larger plant stands 22” from the floor of the cabinet including its 5 gal pot. The other is about 16”.

I’ve been doing LST with these ones and I’m going to build a Scrog net this weekend from some pvc.

any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

is height an issue? they look like they make a large enough canopy area for the cabinet they are in. I would flip them to flower now if they are not autos.

I was hoping to push to week 7 before flipping. As of right now they fill the canopy nicely.

as for height I have 30” of space from the top of the tallest plant to 12” below the max height I could put my lights.

I’m new to this and have heard they will double in size so maybe I should flip them now?

would you top or F.I.M or just flip and scrog them?

They double to triple in flower. If you're going to scrog,that's a good thing since you'll use that extra height horizontally to fill in every cm of your net.

Either way you handle it, you'll want to flip now.

Flip now for sure if that's going to be their flower space. Or find somewhere with 2x more area to flower them and scrog them there for a week or 2 then flip.

Okay I’ll build the scrog tomorrow and flip them tomorrow night.

What height would you suggest putting the scrog at?

You place the scrog so that your colas are all under the sweet spot for your light. The point is to maximize exposure to optimum conditions. What light?

im running 2 mars eco49 300w led’s....they each pull 116w from the wall

cabinet is 84”H, 30”W, 27” D

Ya I have 7' and quickly running out of room. Flipped monday and already gained 4 1/2" on my tallest plant. I femmed one and wish I did the rest. But I'll make that assumption when i see the end result. But yes they about to go crazy.

2 tier scrog is the way to go. Use larger spacing on the upper netting to compensate for the colas. It seems like you could get your canopy 12" under the lights
