Howdy Forum,

I am growing my fist cannabis plant this year in my outdoor vegetable garden. I live in the northeast. Monitoring the plant, I can tell it's within a week or two of harvest. As the plant and buds mature the weight often buds begins to pull the down branches and the terminal cola has side bud sags. I have used these tomato clips for few years, and it works rather well. This week I used the clips to support the side branches. Seems to do the trick. I have one plant and you near commercial guys probably have a better way to support. Though I'd throw it out there.

Thanks,

What do you clip them to?

Hey 2Bad,

I’ll hook around the sagging branch then attach the other end loop to either the main trunk or to a stake driven next the the plant. If I need to I’ll connect two clips together for a longer clip. Seems to work well. They are cheap.

2BD,
I just went out and took a picture of a clip supporting a branch. Not great but you get the idea.
