I have a grow thread going for my first grow. Someone suggested I use molasses during the final flush. But after doing some research here, I realized that everyone uses the molasses during the entire flowering process. I'm on week 7 of flowering and ready to start flushing. Will the molasses make a difference at this point?? I won't waste the molasses or effort if it's not gonna help. I'll wait till my next grow to use it.

some flush a week some 3 days some 2 weeks. its up to you but drop it the last week at most and just RO water to finish.

dp

at this point it probly wont help much to notice.

deffinatly give it a FULL run next time. you will notice a defferance then.

it seems to me when i use it, it thickens the frost up from the bottom up within a few days at least. could all be in my head to but doubt it!

What's ro water?

Reverse osmosis........don't worry about it , just phr correct whatever water you've used all along and flsuh.

Next time , as has been cited , utilise molasses right from the jump , taper up and jump on it in flower , one look at nute schedules will make the "when" quite apparent to you , wehn you start flushing cut the nutes except for molasses and taper that dwon to zero ,last 5 - 8 days of flush with straight ph corrected water.

I haven't been checking the ph on the straight water I've been using. I've filled up a few gallon jugs and let them sit out for a few days to evaporate the chlorine in them but thats about it. Should I check the ph or not worry about it? This Saturday is end of week 7 and I want to start flushing one of the plants. I'm picking these plants at different times to get different results. and I'm still bummed about not using the molasses earlier,,

It's actually unlikely to really hurt anything now , I'm just anal retentive about PH.

And hey , you can run the molasses next time , by the way it's a heck of a lot cheaper in the long run just to get a five gallon jug , it's cheap enough by the gallon but you'll save yourself another 3-5 bucks a gallon buying it buy the five gallon , depending on who has it I pay 38-50 bucks for a five and the 1s are 13-16ish........if you use a lot it pays off to buy the bigger size.
