I’m super confused why it had to be closed, this seriously takes the wind out of my sails.
I never did anything wrong on this site, did nothing but support this place, I had mod status pulled, which I get, but closing my thread down? I was gone because my life was going haywire and needed to take time. So for l some reason I’m having my threads shut down, it could have been moved. This sucks.

I did give credit where it’s due and I don’t understand why he couldn’t move the thread.I just want to know what other threads were locked, seriously, when I’m on, the og trainwreck was my diary, so it’s kinda jacked to shut it down, so that makes me wonder, out of all the “in the wrong spot” threads got shutdown. I put my heart and soul into that.

I get it having contact info...i know how to reach you...but on the forum you answer a question I have...share a tidbit about a strain...a grow...everyone learns from it. As well as I may read something you shared with someone else....and learn a valuable piece of info....I know that this isnt new to you....maybe I'm venting so @logic can read it. Just a tip folks, don’t have anyone important in your life get sick, or have things get crazy financially. Bc your threads will get locked and any good will you may have invested for 6 years will be shutdown.

@CaptspauldingI think it's safe to say what has happened over the past couple days, building an online cannabis community isn't really the agenda of this website at all. It's almost a case study on "how to destroy an online community." They can be pissed at me for saying this, but how many people were dropping in regularly to that original Trainwreck thread and how many of them can't even find the friends they were visiting daily right now? Sorry dudes. Major fail.

@logic says it was because it was in the wrong section, after the website changes, so they closed it for replies.
Hopefully they will integrate or move the existing Trainwreck Threadand open it back up for replies.

Hopefully one of the admins/mods or @logic themselves will explain thingsIt's more than that. The "lobby" of the forum has the smokers lounge way down at the bottom of the page and no on-ramp at the top for quick social engagement. On top of that, you might notice that if you are tracking NEW activity, nothing from the "smokers lounge" section appears up there, so I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering if they really are trying to break up their online community. They forced everyone to find new channels and pathways to connect with other growers. It was a single discussion thread. The site's biggest traffic generator. Instead of killing it they should have been looking into how they could capitalize on it. We were only 222 pages away from reaching the 5,000 mark. Almost 100k comments.
Mods can create threads on their own. Instead of creating one and making a post at the closed thread that points to the new one, they said this thread is closed, go create a new one over at Smokers Lounge. Do let that sink in for a moment and you tell me, dues that sound even remotely like they're trying to nurture an online community? Hmm.
