Currently running a 600w HID. Looking into getting an extra light so I can have a veg and flower room. Does anyone have experience flowering with one and vegging with the other? I found some info a while back stating that going from HID in veg to LED in flower, or vice-versa, causes stress. Can anyone elaborate on the subject? I can not find the info I came across

just now starting to send plants into flower (hps) from veg (LED). First group was 1/2 & 1/2 veg (MH vs LED), second batch will be all LED Veg. Not enough experience to say anything definitive but one area of observation is the stretch on the LED Veg seems to be more pronounced

I have vegged under t8 & t5 fluorescent for 25 years before I flip them into flower under 1000w hps . I really like the t5's for veg, I can keep the light right on top of the plants within inches without burning the leaves ( after they are a few weeks old ) I have a Se3000 led as well I've vegged and I'm now flowering under for the first time. Both the t5's and led vegged very well, I vegged 1 under the led and 4 under the t5's all plants grew in unison without any differences in size or growth.

When I have space in my flower room I'll move vegging plants into it through the day then back under t5's for the night. They love that and it gives them a boost in growth over plants I'm not able to move because of space restraints.
