Well thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts. As I have said in previous posts, I love this place.

So I need to decide quick if I want to go up in pot size one more time. I started out about 4 weeks ago in solo cups, went to 1 gal at 1.5 weeks and saw roots in the drain holes at 2.5 weeks. I went to 5 gallon pots 3.6 or so true size. Here I am at week 4 and dropping light time to flower and I spot root tips at the base of my pot coming out a side drain hole.

The strain is Northern Lights supposedly taken from a Sensi mother. I am setup in a lighthouse 4x8x8 tent with 2 1600 watt Mars 2 LEDs that I am running in full spectrum as I enter into flower. I was feeding Fox Farms nutes the first couple weeks until I got into the 5 gallon pots with my super soil.

I have left just about enough room to grow slightly more than double in height as I move from 18/6 towards 12/12. I am dropping about 1.5 hours a night and have 2 more nights till I reach 12/12.

So the question is, with 3 pots showing 2-3 root tips each, all from 1/2" to 1" visible, should run out and buy more soil and bigger pots or just let it go?

My mother plant are in 5 gallon buckets and have been for months. They are huge and I have no problems. Make sure you don't root lock them and you will be ok. I check mine when they are mostly dry, just tip the bucket a lil and pull the plant straight up
