I pull all fan leaves before harvest but not sure should I hang to dry then trim or trim first then hang to dry?

Do you leave on branches and trim then hang?

Yeah my guy does, I just help trim but yeah we just cut the branchs trim and hang on hangers from there once there dry he clips the nugs and into the respective jars they go :D

I'm thinking of switching my whole weekly regiment to de-fanning, then trimming when it's dry. I currently do it all in a shot

I always got the feeling I was ruining buds when I trimmed dry

I de-fan then give the buds a very quick once over by trying to trim back just the greenest parts of the bud leaves. then I hang. I feel like my final trim material has a little better quality for making concentrates and its a tiny bit easier to final trim.

If you're trimming while wet, you could also trim the buds off the stem then just put everything on a dry rack. Saves a ton of space typically.

For years I've done wet, just here recently I've done the dry trim the past 2 harvest. Here's my take wet trim is easier and took longer to get hay smell gone. On dry trim is a little harder but damn the smell and taste is way better. So in the end dry is better a little more work but worth it...
