I have some Afghan in a 1-gallon pot sitting on a bottom 1/3 Subcool Super Soil & a top layer of FFOF & FFLW as my base soil. I didn't let the super soil bake, instead I inoculated it with some compost tea & then transplanted out of my solo cup into my 1 gallon.

She hasn't been happy since the transplant and her new leaves have an odd curve to them, are very skinny compared to her sisters in coco, and her leaf serrations also look like they're fraying.

Does anybody have an idea of what's happening?

Doesn't look like she liked that transplant much. Might've been a bit hot. Or any chance the fan is blowing on that one a bit hard? Looks dry and a bit overfeed, I bet with some tlc and a few more wet/dry cycles she'll be growing good leaves again.

And by dry I don't mean needs water. Like the ground has more nutrients(salts) than the plant material so osmosis goes the other way and drys(nute burns) your leaves. Maybe the roots hit the super soil already and burned their tips off. They usually they bounce back fine just have to get some more roots growing.

I think they are having a reaction to the sudden influx of nutrients that the FF products are full of. It looks like nutrient burn, not a lockout of deficiency. I have seen many growers run into this problem, although the plants usually grow out of it. You have an awful lot of nutrients in your soil makeup and it is going to take a while for them to get used to their new home...unless they can't adapt. I prefer not to use pre-loaded soils and mediums as you never really know what or how much is in them. I prefer Promix and add all of my nutrients, making sure what does and doesn't go into my plants. I use 5 gallon buckets, but every grow and grower is different. Keep up the good work!

Have you scoped those white spots on the leaves? Looks like sugars crystallizing on the leaves. Could be pests?! Check both sides of the leaves and stems. Hope I’m wrong.

nute burn, I would do a different soil plan, transplant to happy frog if you insist on using FF soils and then after a month in happy frog, move to super soil mix.

it's way to hot for what you did
