BCrocker 428 28 Feb 8, 2012 #1 Hello! Do you guys use two 4" cubes stacked in the net pots? Or just 1 and then fill with hydroton? Friend of mine uses two cubes.. although I just use 1 and fill with hydroton... any benefits of using two?

Legallyflying 159 28 Feb 8, 2012 #2 I doubt that it really matters. I know that it is impossible to suffer stem rot when using hydroton, I have had plant stems (young ones) rot in rockwool becuase it held too much moisture. So in short, I would say one rock wool cube.
