Under attack and needed assistance

Anyone have suggestions for pm and aphids in flower. Everything was good when I was spraying it, but I stopped because of flowering. Big mistake now two of my plants are infected. Any help is appreciated.

for mold you can use milk it has ph that mold doesnt have and milk bacteria is not deadly to humans.just wash it after.even better if you can do a h202 wash

Thanks for your reply. Just some good old-fashioned milk.im sure I got that somewhere. Im definitely washing them. A simple enough process it be foolish to skip.

It's actually whey that should be used for powdery mildew. Not just milk. I used it for a couple months and it held off the PM for the most part. I am now using citric acid and h2o2 to spray on my plants in flower. Here's a video explaining why whey works. There are also some scientific papers, if you want to search the interwebs.

What amount of citric acid are you using? The C.A. reduces the pH of the plant surface which makes it hard for the powdery mildew to grow. But if you follow some of the recipes for house plants it can burn the shit out of your leaves. Lost Coast Plant Therapy (which works pretty good) only has .25% C.A. You’re suppose to use 1oz per gallon, so if I’m doing my math right, that’s .0025 oz - which is only .015 teaspoon of C.A. in a gallon.

I'm using 1 oz of CA in 1 gallon of rain water. I've had to put my plants, that I can move, up in the shed. It has rained for 5 days straight here. The others are in my raised bed. I don't have anything to cover any of them. Sounds like I'm using a little too much. There is so much conflicting information out there that it feels like you're throwing darts at balloons and hoping some land. Thanks for the info. I'll reduce the amount of CA.

I’ve been using dr zymes eliminator and have growers ally fungicide

Those % make me feel a little better on that Grower's Ally for citric acid. Just not sure if @mancorn was referring to the % of CA should be lower while in flower. Have to wait for the reply.

When I do the math on the Growers Ally Fungicide, the bottle says it’s 1.07% CA and you’re suppose to use 45ml per gallon. So 45ml x 1.07% = .48 ml = .1 teaspoon per gallon of CA in the Growers Ally mix.

I’m no expert on using CA. The times I have it burned up bad. Obviously if you’re using 1 tsp per gallon and it’s not burning or browning you leaves I’d take that over some dumb guy (me) telling you different.

Edit: opps was off and said .01 instead of .1 teaspoon - fixed above.

I’ve got some CA poppies around the base of a plant right now and a bottle of the Garden Friendly Fungicide which is a biological (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens). So will go spray that right now and see if it does anything and report back.

My plants weren't in great shape when I started using it. Pistils were already looking friend. I'd been using whey for a couple of months. While I'm not claiming the whey burnt them, I don't think they liked being sprayed, in general. New pistils are growing daily.

I'd really like to get a microscope and view each of these sprays under that to see exactly what they are doing to my flower.

i know this is an old post, but got PM on couple plants with about 6 weeks from harvest time and tried Grower ally based on reco. so far so good & took care of PM. now controlling water & humidity so it does not come back. i was a little concerned about reco above as 1 tsp does not seem like a lot, but applied according to direction on grow ally site:

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Prior to mixing, shake the concentrate well. For outdoor application, spray plants early in the morning or evening to avoid the hottest part of the day. Avoid spraying in temperatures over 90°F. For indoor application, keep lights and fans off for 2–3 hours after spraying.

CURATIVE

Mix at 1.2% or 45 mL of concentrate per 1 gallon of water. Thoroughly spray the leaves and stems of the plant you are treating until there is runoff. Wait 4 hours, then repeat application a second time. Treat every 3-5 days as necessary. For maximum effectiveness, apply at the first sign of disease and use a sprayer that emits a fine mist for full coverage.

PREVENTATIVE

Mix at 1.2% or 45 mL of concentrate per 1 gallon of water. Thoroughly spray the leaves and stems of the plant you are treating until there is runoff. Treat every 7 days.
No limitation on the number of applications per growing cycle.
