Here’s my pink kush on day20 in flower and day 80 overall. My question is about watering. She’s looking thirsty in this pic however the pot is still heavy. I’m using roots organic soil in 5gal pot. Mars hydro 4800 fc light. I’m using advance nutrients. Ph feed to 5.8-6.0. Am I missing something?

Yeah it looks a little wet but they also droop with transpiration and changes in VPD it's normal but I'm not convinced you're not headed for trouble. I'd suggest when you get your next good dryback give them just water the next couple waterings. If the pot is staying heavy it may not be drinking much because its overfed. This can happen with liquid nutes. If you get yourself a soil test kit and check the excess water that comes out after you water, you'll be able to see what the nutrient levels look like and where you have any issues being over or under on anything. Because you're using liquid nutrients in a soil that has its own nutrients, you run the risk of double dosing on one or more of the three essentials. When a plant suddenly stops drinking, it's a sign that this could be happening. Also happens with bad pH but that usually has other signs like looking like a nute deficiency or flipping their leaves upside down.

with fabric pots i like to feel the bottom, or the sides near the bottom if I cant pick it up. If the fabric is dry and doesnt feel cool I would water.

that pot/media/plant looks bone dry in that picture to me.

I agree with the bone dry it’s just the weight of the pot is still heavy. After my last watering, I weighed and it was around 18 pounds and that was after feeding a gallon of water. Today I’m at 14 1/2 pounds. This this is the confusing part. She looks like she needs water, but the weight is so heavy. I’ve been using advance nutrients PH Perfect Sensi line and ph my water to 5.8-6.0. I’m just gonna let it dry out a little more and hope for the best. Thanks for your feedback.

Let it dry back even more this time. I think the pot is a little too big for the size of the plant. If the plant was 18lbs after a gallon of water it was 10 lbs when you watered it. So more than half of what you gave it is still in the pot.

Looks like she has wet feet. It only has to be the bottom inch or so of the pot. If it's constantly saturated between waterings it will become anaerobic and the plant will suffer even though the rest of the pot is drying back. Even in that size container a truly dry plant is going to feel light as a feather. Wait until you're shocked how light it is when you pick it up before you water again.

The cruelest trick plants play on us is making over watering look like under watering! Good luck, and keep us posted!

It’s been 3 days and just under 1 pound my difference from 14 pounds to 13. It seems I may have root rot from what I have gathered. Now my question is do I just cut my losses and look forward to the outside or is this something I can correct?
