I'm having trouble understanding the difference in my humidity readers. I have a 4x4 grow tent. My hygrometer says the humidity is 4%. I have a very vesync humidifier which says the humidity is 70%. Which do I go by?
The humidity and temperature readings on my humidifier are junk. That doesn't mean yours gives BS readings, but my unit definitely heats the thermometer, giving ridiculous readings.
I know the digital hygrometers are pretty accurate in my experience.
Never used a humidifier that has a hygrometer on it, but it seems the readings would be inaccurate because it is connected to the machine that is spewing out moisture.
What LexLuthor said are my thoughts exact. If you have the humidifier that does it's own reading, Chance are its in a little humid pocket of it's own. Especially since your digital one ready that the max within 24 hours was 71%. I would say go off the readings of your digital one.
