I was bored one day last November and decided on a whim to fire up the grow tent using a single seed that had popped up in a cache of some pretty good bud. Can't remember for the life of me what the name was, just knew it was an Indica breed.

Setting up the tent with a 20-gal pot using standard Potting MG along with some coconut fiber and organic probiotic fertilizer that I had laying around mixed in. Used standard LED lighting 18" above the pot, 18/6 schedule, temp low 80's/mid 60's, and humidity 70%/50%.

Three days for the seed to pop. It grew to its second set of full leaves in two weeks and then did absolutely nothing for over a month! Finally, in January, it started to grow again, and I was able to top it several times. It grew to about 4 feet.

Come the middle of April I got restless wanted to start my summer grow, starting the plants in the tent. So, the wife and I used a couple of vice grips on the edge of the pot to lift it and move the 4 foot plant out into the back yard where I usually grow my plants. Outdoor night temps were in the low 40's, with about 12 hours of day light at that time. Growth stopped! Bottom leaves turned yellow and dropped off no matter what fertilizer I threw at it. I decided to let nature take its course and just keep it watered.

Once the tent was empty, I started my new crop. When it was time to transplant the starters into 20-gal pots, I mixed several bags of Garden MG, Garden Soil, Coconut fiber and probiotic fertilizer together for the new pots.

After filling the new pots, I had a bit leftover, so I decided to top off the soil of the winter indoor grow plant. But, before I topped off the soil, I had a bag of Dr. Earth's Organic Fruit Tree Fertilizer open, so I laid a good cup of it around the base of the plant and then added the soil. Gave everything a good watering. Over the next several weeks the plant stopped dropping leaves and grew another foot or so over the month.

Since the beginning of June, that plant has filled in like crazy, gotten dark green, starting to show trichomes and emitting a skunk smell when you get up close. It's drinking over three gallons a day. I've never had a plant take up that much water daily!

Looking at the plant structure of the buds, I've never seen this overcrowding of proto buds. It looks like every leaf has or is becoming a bud. I had to place a tomato ring around it because the plant is getting extremely top heavy, and the wind is wanting to tip the stems over. If you look closely at the bottom pic, you can already see the trichomes on the leaves and stems.

Anyone else seen something like this? Any idea of what breed it is?

Regardless of what it is, from what I'm seeing, it looks like it might just be something to write home about.

looks like it’s revegging

yup^

At some point it thought it was time to flower, then realized it wasnt. So it's revegging.

Definitely keep a sharp eye out for PM come actual flower season on this one. It should still stack and produce a lot of good flower for you come time, and probably a stupid amount of frosty trim, but its gonna be caked in by a lot of leaf too and airflow will suffer.

Ive had some plants do this in the past that actually ended up yielding more then ones that didnt of the same size. But they were hot beds for PM and bud rot if not kept clean.

oh boy you may want to start another one as a backup in case this thing becomes to wild after the reveg or starts flowering now.
