Variegated Bud Mutations ??! Post your strange buds

Here’s my variegated lower bud that I’ve been keeping progress with. Lacking chlorophyll giving it some this vitiligo/ albino affect. Has anyone else had a variegated leaf or buds ? Or any other strange or cool mutations or formations ?

Is it not just bleaching from light, top pic especially looks like it lost chlorophyll rather than variegation but I'm no expert here

I thought the same but it’s only on this one bud and another but it’s literally on the lowest part of the plant so bleaching would be strange, since it’s not on any of the top bud sites

I think it’s variegated because it’s not on the whole leaf, half is green and half is white instead of the entire leaf but I know there’s different variations

Made me feel there was a reason other than the genetic route which should see a more even distribution.

No idea really, pathogen damage or DNA replication error maybe.

Seen it cloned of a single branch before but never passed to next generation through seedling and often corrects itself.

But any knowledge here was sketchy at best, still cool as fuck to have it happen

I read that all those factors you mentioned can cause it.
