Hey,
whats up everybody I go by 1992. I'm starting a new grow and I only have space for 4 plants. I want to maximize my yield by topping, LST, and possibly a scrog. it's not my first grow been growing for 3 years now. but I'm still learning more and more every day. I'm vegging for about 2 1/2 months to fill up the scrog in case I decide to use utilize it. I'm using Veg+Bloom by Hydroponics research it's a one part nutrient that you can use from veg all the way to the end of flower. Has anyone had any experience with this nute line? I'm growing in happy frog soil with added perlite, 600W LED with added 250W LED for flower, and a T5 for veg for the first 3 weeks then switching to 250w led for the remainder of veg, or possibly a 400W metal halide for rest of veg haven't decided. I welcome any advice on how to get that 1LB per 4 plants. I'm growing some cherry pie, Alice in Wonderland, tangerine dream, and Pablo Escobar. Seeds don't come in until next week.

The only advice i'd give ya is use some large grow containers and let your plants grow. 4oz a plant is not unheard of its just a matter of letting them veg long enough (filling out your canopy) before switching to flower. Having enough root space is probably going to your biggest hurdle to get there. You might want to go bigger on lights as well, but that's probably more of a budget constraint. Good luck and can't wait to see your progress.

Thanks for the reply @JWM2, Do you think that 10-gallon pots will be good enough or should I go bigger? and do you think that a mixture of two 250W LED lights and a 400W Metal Halide for flower is strong enough or should I add in a Full Spectrum 600W Led light with added optical lens along with the 400W Metal Halide?.

Yes 10 gallon pots is your best bet as far as grow containers go. It really depends on the size of the grow space as to how much light you should use. You want to make sure the canopy gets enough light to produce thick dense buds. If you skimp on light you’ll negate the work you put into vegging them. Make sure you are getting at least 40-75 watts per square foot of space. That should give you the best results.

If you want to get 1 lb you will need either a 600w hps 630w cmh or a 600w actual power draw led having space for 4 plants dont mean much bro if i grow 4 plants in the same veg time you have id need 4 x1000w hps or there equivalent light and 3m x3m tent min and that would leave no space to move

im reading it now and its 6 grams per 5 gallons...still making it 1 gram per gallon. If you do 6 grams per gallon im pretty sure your gonna over nute your plant even in flower.

yes but im training my plants. im bending, LST, supercropping, and topping. so I should have enough space to grow that pound. and as far as lighting goes I have enough. I have a 400w MH...600w HPS... and a 600W LED....and 2 150W LED

and its only going to be 4oz per plant …which isn't a lot for me...Ive grown plants that have produced 6-7 oz before when I had more space. ive just never done it in a such compact place before but I think I can do it.

Seeds popped now im planting straight into 10gallon buckets. Starting veg with t5 lights for the first 2 weeks than switching to led and then metal halite to finish. Might use MH for the rest of flowering 600w.
