for young plants try to shoot for an ec of 1.4-1.6

and for the veg+bloom
leave out the Calmg+ and the protek
you dont need either
your tap has buffers in it and the nutrients have plenty of cal
also there is silica in the nutrient blend

try using it straight up
try 3grams per gallon and see where you stand ec and ph wise

Coco, peat, hydro, ocean forest mix?

I'm using Pro-Mix HP with extra perlite that I added.
Here's a related question... how does one measure the PPM of runoff if you're in soil/soiless? Wouldn't the peat particles throw off the PPM or do TDS meters just measure the salts in the runoff?

Edit: Well, I think I've found out an answer to ec levels in the medium I'm using.

common mistake

dont measure runoff

if you really want to check soil

make a slury
of a bit of soil and ro water

mix well and wait 24 hours
strain and measure the fluid

but dont worry about that stuff

whe watering you promix
water till you see a little runoff

every day pick up the pot

when the pot gets lighter maybe 50% of full saturation
water again
for me when I used promix

I would feed water water

meaning feed

the next time I just watered and then watered again and then feed again

Here is what I'm mixing. V+B HD with Protekt and Cal-Mag+ RO water. Not using a reservoir, just making it up and pouring it into gallon jugs. So... any thoughts on storage times ???

V+B sits in my rez for a week plus with no airstones or pumps moving it. Works just fine. Nothing falls out except for the carrier from when you mix it. I would just make sure not to seal it in the jugs if thats the case.
