I've been curious about what these squiggly green hairs are actually called, botanically speaking.
Much finer than the Pistils... like 10 or more times smaller diameter.
Haven't seen an anatomy image showing them.
PS. Pretty sure they aren't Spider webs... mostly

Are you using a net across your grow? Some are poorly made and the loose fibers just stick to everything. Also no chance they could be pet hairs of some sort? If you can grab them with tweezers and tease them out, they're hairs. If they break as soon as you pull, its some sort of web.

No net used.
They appear to be growing out of the calyx's.
Very sturdy... like fishing line... but really thin.
They start out clear/green and progressively get darker to orange/brown.
Here's a different bud.
The first pic I posted does have a grey colored fiber on it's left side.

Oh that? That's your pistils maturing, they will all go brown or orange. Perfectly normal.

I do have a black cat and have had a few hairs show up on the buds from my clothes.
They are much thicker and are easy to pick off.
I've grown 37 plants of this variety and some of those plants didn't or don't have any of these hairs.
But many of those plants, like the ones with the buds in these pics, are loaded with them.

Nope... not pistils.
Look closer at the very tip of the point of my arrows in the pics.
They are problee 10 times thinner than the pistils.

It's no biggie... mostly irrelevant.
I'm Just curious.

If they're coming out of the plant, it might just be genetic, definitely a new one on me. I have a 30 dollar Amazon USB microscope, I'd love to get it on that bud.

Also, that is one frosty SOB I have to say, really nice bud. Sometimes the thc can drip from the trichomes and leave a sticky trail? Very weird.

Yeah I think it is genetic... there have been a number of strange mutations with this breed.
