It's a mutation. I've had one and there's been a few floating around lately. Faciasion or something. Gonna make the most dense bud, like a brick shithouse.

The couple I’ve seen were like styrofoam inside. Didn’t have any bud like material. (And had a super wide flat stem.)

Well that sucks, I thought that I was going to have a huge, smokable bud.

It’s likely from genetics, extra light, stress, or a mutation like fasciation. Could also be a hormone imbalance. As long as it’s healthy, it’s nothing to worry about just growing stronger or different.

Now that you've said that, I remember a few years ago on one of my first several grows having one that was like Styrofoam inside. I had forgotten about it until you brought up the Styrofoam.

I think I have a fasciated tomato plant! The one fruiting stalk is a flat ribbon and the flower is a large weird mess.

Here’s mine I started to flower indoor and thought it was cool so I put it on my back patio it’s fully reveged now and growing again. I like to say it looks like a fake weed plant from a movie that doesn’t really look like a weed plant lol are any of your stems flat? The main colas on mine are like pieces of celery lol
