So basically yeah. I've never transplanted before out of fear lol. But wanted to try this time. Running 2 autos. Gonna transplant to an earthbox.

Didn't have any solo cups so I used what I had. I've heard wait until after it's first set of true leaves, but also heard to transplant when the leaves reach the end of pot.

It's a stupid question but I don't want to transplant too early. They are around 12 days since sprout.

There's several things you kinda want to wait until at least the 5th node and transplanting is one of them. But I don't have experience with autos, I've just heard they don't like having their roots disturbed. That said, seems to me you can minimize shock by keeping that root ball as intact as you can and placing it in identical soil so they're already used to it. I usually up pot at night so there's some brief time to adjust before they get light, and I try and give them a few days of indirect light while the roots are settling in to their new home.

Ok. I kinda figured it was too early and they will go in the same soil. Autos are very finicky. I'll definitely take my time when I go to transplant. I also have some mychorrizhal.

Just like @Ninjadogma said, have the new pot of soil ready to rock! Autos tend to start flowering if they get root bound, so it would probably be okay to transplant in about a week or ten days. A lot of autos only have a short veg period. 👊🏼
