I don't know anything about cloning or the way things are supposed to go along those lines. But this little gal is the first top of my first ever plant. Why not see what happens with rooting hormone in a cup? Forgot about her for I don't remember how long and I see new growth. Let her keep doing her thing in potting mix and now she is so cute! Making tiny flowers but making such a powerful smell! She is tiny and an unexpected treat!

Might wanna scope those for mites. Lots of mite damage that I can see.

Oh the white dots, huh? She was misted to raise humidity at one point. That was a bad idea.
Ehh.. I would still grab a magnifying glass and look closer, could be russet mites which are very hard to see almost impossible to the naked eye. I mean it could be from misting or something else but, that's classic mite damage evidence. Just making sure you got all your bases covered πŸ‘Š 🀠

I believe you are correct sir. I broke out the loupe on a leaf. I don't know where to see if there are any on the plant. I checked the under side of a fan leaf. Tiny tiny blisters like it's been bitten. No sign of a crawler though. Where do they hide?

In the end, it really didn’t matter! I ground them into the dirt, with the heel of my boot! And cursed myself for being such an idiot! L O L And started over!

There’s a few that mist regularly here : ) think of the cuttings you spray 5 times a day when there in the dome : ) no problems there. I’m seeing really bad mite problem as brought up by DS, yeah the white dots, you can also see a bit of β€œtaco’ing” (that can be a sign of mites also). Get some scorched earth asap! : ) I was thinking you could take a few more cuttings off that also! Keep that shit going! : ) great job getting it to this point!!!πŸ’ͺ✌️

It's a good learning experience.
