Hello all! Happy Friday! Just an update, I unfortunately had to chop my first grow as it was a male :/ I wanted to say thank you to all who helped me out with advice and recommendations etc in my first grow! It was definitely a learning experience and a lot of trial and error! Here are a couple pics of the dude before he was chopped. IMO I feel like it filled out pretty well! The strain was Deathstar.

I have 2 new seedlings in solos right now in ffof ocean forest. Strain is sapphire scout. They broke soil on 4/24. Been using distilled water with no nutes. Have an aci t4 in-line fan with an aci 6” oscillating fan. 18/6 light cycle. Lights on temps are stable at 77* F with 70% rh. Lights off temps are 70* F with an rh of 70% as well. Will be transplanting to 3 gallon fabric pots here today when lights turn back on. I feel as if they are ready(maybe??). I just checked them this morning and they are now a little droopy. Watered on 5/10. Soil was dry(have a moisture meter). Those photos of the seedlings were taken Wednesday btw. Open to any recommendations and general conversation!

Also, from what I have read, the Sapphire Scout is a photo period strain as well!

It is what it is at this point, it was definitely a bummer when I first saw everything though but HEY we live and we learn and that’s life right? I was honestly just surprised to have gotten the plant that far. I did not expect it to have gotten as far as it did due to me being a beginner. Just out of curiosity, what makes you say it was a hermie?? I was checking for white pistils etc and couldn’t find anything as far as I could tell(beginner eyes/knowledge)

Ahhh gotcha! Yeah I was checking every single node I could because if it would have been a hermie I would have honestly ran with it just to say I completed a first grow and still would have been proud of it I know it wouldn’t have amounted to shit but hey that would have been an “accomplishment” in my book. Ya know?

Understood. Personally I would've grown the male and try to crossbreed for fun. Lol

Hahaha yeah I would have liked to do that but I have limited space right now. Waiting for the day I can get a 10x10 and go at it! One day but not anytime soon.

You’re good man! Yeah I was thinking of doing outdoor but too many pests etc to worry about IMO. Especially with it being my first I felt like indoor was a better approach for me. Somewhat more a controlled environment.
