I only have 3 years experience, I was just theorizing it might be too much light.DGP knows his stuff
All my soil shows this shock when I flip the switch
Dirt farmers hereI only have 3 years experience, I was just theorizing it might be too much light.
When your plant goes into flower it's normal for some leaves 2 lighten up, this could b a small nutrients problem I would add a tad of calcium, as long as ur leaves are not eagle clawing, burning, pests, curling up, I should b fine, just keep a close eye on her. Your Friend Snoleperd

Thanks a lot! That' a ot of info and your setup looks great! I'l raise the lights a bit and see how it goes. I'l keep y'all posted ☺☺☺☺Sno,
Good point I forgot to say that but I often see the new growth in flower to come in sorta lime green and then the leaves as they expand and grow turn a deeper green. There may be nothing wrong at all and you are probably doing just fine. Keep doing what your doing but watch the nute levels cause like I said before GH gives you recommendations that sell more fertilizer but aren't necessarily the nute levels the plants really need. If you do end up with burn it can set back the progress of your plants, just keep an eye out for signs they are getting too much like tips of leaves on new growth turning yellow or the tips pointing down and eventually turning quite dark as they mature (leaf claw).
Also, what are your water temperatures? Keep them under 70F, because root rot (pythium) can sneak up on you and really impact your progress. Reservoir conditioners can be used to help control water quality but I get the best results when I keep the water at 68 and use a little H202 once in a while (every 3-5 days for me). Reservoir conditioners to me just mask a problem but don't really solve it but water chillers are expensive ($275) so I went quite a while using conditioners till I could afford a chiller.
Best wishes and keep posting so we can see how it all goes....
