Most mature of three plants…..Washed in 3 part bath, 1st with lemon juice and baking soda in room temp water, 2nd was a warm water rinse followed by a cold water rinse. Then shook the water out and let em dry under the sun and breeze. Lots of dirt, bugs and debris in water, should make my asthma less affected, I hope.I want to try to regrow buds this winter in the plant as I nipped the buds off ,heat the branches. Anybody agree with this approach and will the plant regrow buds this winter and how should I feed it?

Your od bud washing tek is spot on (depending on % of lemon juice and BS was used). Also, room temp h2o. Cold water can break off the trichomes from the flowers.

Unless you left a little living plant material on harvested plant, the plant cant reveg. There will be nothing for the plant to use to grow. Roses don't need anything but a stalk/roots. Mj needs a bit more to reveg.

I just give mine a 5 minute dunk in ice water and hang them until they're dry and then they go to the drying box. One of the things I've noticed is you lose VOC's in the water as you might notice some of that bud aroma lingering in the water. So it might be safe but I stay away from everything but clean water.

So I revise the procedure....Warm bath first with Baking soda and lemon, room temp for second rince then? ,do I need the third bath? Use light peroxide in the second if mold/budrot present...

Imo, its not worth "regrowing" a plant.

Although the cut stump may put out new shoots (one of my outdoors sprouted a bunch after I cut it this season) - which I guess you could cut and clone.

Ive gone through it several times with clone "mothers" or flowered/harvested small clones (8" - 12") and regrown them. Your not saving much time (couple weeks?) and the resulting re-veged plant is never quite as good as a new plant - (from seed or from veg state clones)

I have a couple plants I bounced twice. Started as monsters, vegged them, let them start moving to flower and pulled them back out. Buds are now starting to set on them from a flip on the Equinox. They're disposables I really just wanted to screw around with while I was waiting for my real pot to grow just to see what happens. If the flip flopping doesn't kill the potency, the number of popcorn buds setting up on them probably will.

Warm and cold have negative impacts with flower/trichomes. Cold can break them off, warm can melt them. Room temp (mid 70s)

Never wash buds in ice water. That freezes the trichomes making them fall off very easily. Ice water should only be used for hash making when you want the trics to come off. Room temp water only for washing. You shouldn't smell bud in the water afterwards, that's proof you left something behind
