I am at week 6 of flower. Flood and drain tables with atami coco in mesh bottom pots. H&G nutes.

This strange buildup has begun on some leaf tips. The only idea I have is a very early aphid problem. In one pic, maybe I can see little balls of their excretions lower on the leaves.

I feel like ITS POSSIBLE that these are little bugs piled up on one another...

any help in IDing these little fuckers would be appreciated. hope i can say fuckers here.

Hi. I saw your thread on ICM and answered you there, but I'll give you the same advice here. I'm thinking you might want to treat this like a late flowering spider mite problem and use a 50:50 mix isopropyl alcohol:water + spreader/sticker (plain old dish soap, or Dr. Bronner's). For spider mites this concoction is applied every three days. For the aphids I'm thinking daily might be more in order. The iso evaporates very quickly and does no harm to the plants, but I'm thinking it may desiccate the aphids in a big, bad way.

i answered u on ic, but for the record here, i think that iso on resinous buds is a bad idea. resin being alcohol soluble and all.

But you only *think* it's a bad idea. You don't actually know for sure, right?

Try it, THEN speak on it.
