good looking little ladies, Bud. You will get a better yield throwing as much light as possible on them without heating up your space too much- may I recommend supplementing the 400w with some fluorescents? A couple T5s mounted on the walls around your girls will dramatically increase the yield. If you can spend $100 now, you'll reap the rewards exponentially in your harvest. And it doesn't matter that the blue spectrum is better for veg... (believe me, they'll just be happy for more light). I hope things continue to go well for ya! Nice grow.

Cheers af gonna throw a 250w 2700k cfl light in the mix see if that cranks em up a bit im thinking of flowering these ladies earlier this time round my first grow my plants was about 40-50ich when then was threw under 12/12, 74 inches when harvested this time im thinking of flowering them alot shorter maybe get to 30 inch then throw en under 12/12 what y'all think???

1st day under 12/12

Decided to throw my ladies into flower today their about 25 inches alot smaller than my last lot i figured i didn't wanna stretch them as much this run as you may hv read that my first gals was way too stretched huge like gettin on 7ft nice colas but alot popcorn so all goes well this lot should finish off about 4-5ft
I have 4 clones off my first batch you may be able to see them in the pics [far left] their about 4ft already:surprised

What happend to 12" flip. I like 15" but 25" you might need to get that light in the canopy. bending the colas around it. It might help with the pocorns. Adding above light is good to widen the footprint but it still won't go deeper. So hopefully that CFL is sidelighting. In my experience a 400 will only send enough lumens to go about 24-30" inches deep. Not nearly enough for 50-60 unless you have a plant that responds well to really low light conditions. You would need a 1000w just get down to the bottom of a 4'-5' foot bush. If you can controll the heat I really like the T-5 for sidelighting idea. I have seen dense buds grow well under these.

Do you think i should of flipped them when they was 12" Fred? no that's way too small maybe if they was clones yes but these are from seed 25" tall is alright if im flowering these lot now at 25" tall instead of 4ft like my first grow n my first grow was sweet with the same lights these will be killa

I topped all my plants a couple of weeks before they went into 12/12 you can start to see the two tops splitting off now leafs are huge

looking good bigbud... glad to see they made it through the stretch?what size pots are those?as i mostly always do i will agree with rollin j about doing what works for ya, but also that jorge cervantes doesn't seem to grow much..lmao...the majority of all the info in the bible is legit, but it is filled with useless misinformation, which i have discovered from peeps like rolllin j here on the farm..the bible is a good ref, thats about it..imo..good luck with everything

Week 1 12/12

Just an update on my plants its been a week now since I put them on 12/12 looking good the leafs are about 8"long 9"wide pre flowering stage now i think this will last for about another week then the buds should start forming :icon_animal26:
