Here’s an update on the girls!

Newbie grower here, my 2nd grow

They’re between week 4 and 5 of flower and starting to show off their swag!

Peanut butter breath and purple lemonade looking fat on the buds at the back with Gelonade and rainbow belts starting to get small but very solid nugs! The gorilla cookies looks to be slightly behind on the fattening but progressing nonetheless the less.

There was a gelato in there too but I had to rid that because it hermed and started to pollinate (I believe I got it before the others were harmed)

Any advice or comments welcome thanks :)

You could put the small plant on something like a upside down pot to raise it so it’s not as far away from the light because of the bigger ones

Yeah? I’ll do that, I’ve been wondering about it it’s high up enough so thanks. Also I’m worried about led being too close. Will the colas show signs of stress if the led light is too close?

The leaves would bleach and go yellow if it’s to close however many things can make fan leaves go yellow

In extreme cases it can make the plant hermi however not always

How close is the light, wattage & can you dim it

You can do lst in flower & tie the tops down

I meant too close to that plant to the others don’t get the light they need off that light.

I have 1 600w cfl switched to 400w and 2 phlizon mini led lights which say they’re 600w but I find that hard to believe aa they’re not super bright.

Regarding lst in flowering I’ve noticed that they get real stiff during the bloom and I’ve actually managed to snap a couple branches trying it so I shied away from lst in flower

Don’t get me wrong I’ve applied some heavy lst to some of them in there, I got main stems pulled down then they grow up creating a bend in main stem and top cola rises up with the mid stem colas, it’s a craft where you learn most by just doing it I’ve noticed.

Doesn’t mean I’m not open to the tips and wisdom out there :D

lol

Yeah snapping branches isn’t fun you can bandage them & they will graft back

Yeah when there in veg & bendy is really the best time to do it.

No they won’t show signs of stress they will just produce less

As long as you’ve a good airflow witch you have by the sounds of it

I see you’ve ones in small pots that won’t produce much either

I did that for a while when starting out so I can’t say much your better off putting less in still it works and I did it myself
Enjoy the adventure

Thanks for the knowledge brother

Yeah I’ve noticed it’s always easier to bend via the top half’s in veg then in bloom it gets stiffer and stiffer til I can only manipulate the top nodes

Yeah man, airflow is good, and the smaller pots are basically me trying to fill the place up lol, the smaller ones are the rainbow belts and Gelonade, the taller rainbow belts has small buds but they’re real solid so far, the Gelonade was the smaller bushy one which I’ve put on top of 2 pots to bring its canopy around 6-8 inch from the led
