Hi my plant is overall healthy but recently noticed the leaf tips are curling up. Is this from nutrient burn? Or start of a lockout/deficiency?

Growing in coco. Using h3ads method 6/9 micro/bloom with ro water. Ec 1.6, ppm 700-800. Watering daily till 20% runoff. In a 4x4 tent with 315cmh about 2 ft above canopy. Day time temps 72f, night time 65f. Humidity 35-45%. Have air flowing in bottom and exhaust taking air out the top. Have oscillating fan.

My guess is it’s nutrient burn and getting worse? 1 feed ago I stopped with the micro and just doing 10ml bloom since I’m nearing week 7 of flower. And adding 2.5ml GH cal-mag. To get .4 ec and 400ppm. So I’m hoping the lower ec will help them come back to normal.

I am also confused because I read a lot of forum posts saying don’t worry about run off ec in coco that it doesn’t matter... but then have read from a few articles other places saying the run off ec does matter if it’s significantly higher than the water going in and to try to keep what’s coming out 200 points within range of the inflow .( https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/managerunoffec/ ) Which my runoff ec was 3.3 and ppm 1671 which indicates salt build up if that’s the case.

Any help would be appreciated thank you

I wouldnt worry too much as you can see from my pic mine tend to curl upward... Mine tends to do it slowly through weeks 5-7 because i hit them hard with PK boosters... But they go back to normal in week 8 and through my flush.

I usually water quite often during those weeks 5-7 I water 2 times a day (im in coco). I have gotten my best results this way! As long as everything is looking healthy then i wouldn't worry! Maybe let them dry down further if it bothers you.

I know the brown tips are nute burn. I was more worried about the tip curling up and the leaf folding canoeing/tacoing. But as @THCMonster pointed out in his picture of his beautiful colas that it’s normal.

the term u just used, is less commonly, attributed, to nute burn, for future reference.
heat wind... the one i always forget is it k, or p... runnin through my head... ;P .
but yes, those 2... we all c u have done your homework and monster is well aware of what that 800 means, to certain strains n that's not high... for others n u prooly know it, too, but we won't b the only ones, reading it.

with regard to tacos and canoeing
and 800, in coco.

beautiful grow, beautiful setup
i get stumped, to this day, as well.

Awesome thank you!! I moved the lights up some more and will definitely continue with that 400ppm and make sure I give it a good watering. My first time in coco so the whole salt build up thing kind of scares me. Thanks again for the insight and pictures.

Dont worry to much with Coco. The beauty of coco is that you can do an immediate flush if anything ever goes wrong! Just one of the many things I love about Coco. Once you get the hang of it, it will become like 2nd nature to you, they look great though!

For the record: if you ever test your run off with coco it should never really be more then about 300ppm over of what you feed in, if it is then you are feeding it too much, they can only consume so much ppm worth of food a day, i go hard with about 1200-1500 between weeks 5-7 and they consume about 1000-1200ppms everyday in those weeks, because the run off comes out between 1500-1800 depending on how hard I hit them, but ive had some strains that only wanted to eat 700-800ppm a day in the same weeks! Thats how you know if you have heavy feeding strains!

Best of luck!
