Look at this thick gal ha ha ha!

I’ve seen a few kinda fox tailed funny looking girls before, but this is like a mongoloid conjoined twin with three heads…and she’s stacking allllll the way down the stem….the black purple stem ha ha.

Crazier part is the way the buds on this plant are growing…

I’ve never had a plant grow bracts around the main stem like this where instead of just growing from the nodes, they’re melting down and around the stem!

Looks really cool though.

Even the fans have bracts stacking up and frosting ha ha ha.

One could argue both good and bad genes ha ha.

Running these 3.9 gallon autopots with the air domes and air bases lets you run crazy high EC safely…these are maxed out at 2.8 right now and juuuuust now starting to burn just a tad.

Half the people looking at this are probably going to overlook that bud growth happening on a fan leaf. Pretty cool! I had a monstered plant do that in a Fall run I did and I wound up accidentally plucking it off during a spot defoliation. Based on when I saw one, I presume it's driven by crazy hormones.

Day 50 today. Flushed the medium because of salt build up curling leaf tips and stuff…runoff was 3.35 EC.

Got it down to a reasonable number, and now running a weird flush mix of Athena Fade and New Millennium Winter Frost just to see what happens ha ha ha.

Also…

I chopped one of them earlier because it finished wayyyyy faster than the other two being a “45 day strain”, and wet trimmed a portion just to see how it compares to the rest that will be dry trimmed. Somehow I’ve never done that before. Always felt too risky ha ha.

That being said…

UVB…waste of time and money unless you’re just after color change.

Athena Pro powdered 3 part with Balance and Fade…absolutely incredible IF you don’t just follow their feeding schedule blindly UNLESS you’re doing very high frequency feeding in rockwool with high CO2 and all that jazz.

Balance Pro is infinitely better than the blended liquid too.

I think this line keeps N higher longer, and I’m sold on the idea for sure. I think I’ve been blindly cutting too much N too early.

I also love that the Fade keeps giving you Calcium without the N.

Overall, one of my favorites so far due to ease of use and how long it seems to last compared to other lines.

Finally, I highly recommend thinking hard about your goals and WHY you do certain things in the garden. I think it’s SO important to always be trying NEW things you’ve never tried before so that you can safely say you’re doing what works the BEST in YOUR garden, and not what worked the first time so you kept doing it it because the forum said so hahaha

I’ve also been carefully considering breeding my own plants since seeds will be federally banned come November. I have some really cool cuts, and would be down to reverse some stuff if you guys want to help and grow out some testers or something…I have a few old genetics too that would be super interesting to reverse into seeds to see what’s in there ha ha. Like a 2005 Shishkaberry

This plant man…

Now 10 days past the breeder cited flowering time, and still just doesn’t want to finish!

I have a love hate relationship with sativa dominant strains for this reason ha ha.

Anyways…

The Athena Pro Line salts and additives with New Millennium additives is the ticket if anyone was ever wondering about trying it.

Super easy and very CLEAN if you run autopots or anything with line and moving parts!

The next run i have planned was going to be more seeds, and I already planted like 8 Gary Payton X Jelly Donutz, but I think I’m going back to clones ha ha ha.

I ordered a few Super Boof cuts from a reputable source since it was the Blockhead Buds cut because I miss growing only fire plants ha ha.

I mean if someone grows out a metric ton of seeds, and hunts them for potentially several generations or BXs, why would I NOT want a clone of their final keeper?!

I’ve just never ordered them online, and took my time finding the source, but figured since come November you won’t be able to order them…this is the time to start collecting breeder cut moms again!!

You could also try giving them 13 hours dark 11 hours light to make them think they are running out of time. Never tried it but have read that can speed up long flowering sativas.

Make sure your tap water or flush mix has enough calcium in it. Ca is really important for hormone signaling during ripening and the plant cannot use stored Ca it must be in the water at all times. That could be slowing it down. Love the mutant!

it’s over fertilized and fed incorrectly is probably why the ripening has stalled,.

also playing with temps or hours to try to speed up ripening does nothing good but adds more stress and delays it longer not allowing the chemicals to properly form inside the trichome head,.

Did a little too water just to check run off and see what’s what, and it’s only .25 EC above the input.

The only thing she’s being fed right now is a TAD of PK, and Athena Fade. Fade is basically Calcium and micros without any added N.

EC is 1.4 input.

Maybe I should taper more?

Light cycle has been steady, and environment has been solid as well, hovering around 73-75 degrees and 50-52 RH during the day, and 65-67 degrees with 48-50 rh at night

This freak has a reaaalllyy thick stem compared to the others!

Suuuuper dense buds.

Interested to see what’s what.

So excited for the Blockhead cut of Blockberry/Super Boof to come tomorrow!

So ready for moms again ha ha ha.

I’ve seen the MobileJ cut that everyone calls Super Boof, but not the original Blockberry from Blockhead Buds.

Stay tuned, and I’ll post tons of stuff as it grows!
