You are just sitting and watching your garden grow lolHello fellow gardeners!
I am currently in my second grow, first was a 6 plant dwc and this run i made my own 12 plants 65 gallon RDWC with a chiller at 65degrees using DI water on a 2 week res change with 2 waterings a week.
19x19 grow room with AC/heater
50-60% humidity 80-68 temps (if i dont run ac all the time)
My current nutrient line up as of week 10 of veg at 2.5 EC
GH armor si
GH cal mag
GH trio
Hydroguard
Great white
Are there any nutrients that y’all suggest to run through flower?
or maybe something i should be using in veg as well?
Any information is welcome and thank you for your replies!
(there is a couple stragglers in the system dont mind them)
for anyone wondering the strains are:
northern lights
Skywalka cookies
GG4x pre98 bubba
Jack herer
Strawberry jelly
Slurricane
Double dream
Blueberry
Forbidden fruit (the tall plants in the middle

Your plants look great ! I’m using dwc with gh nutes. I’m getting way better results since I added gh humid acids and gh micro. I’m about 7 weeks into flower on this kali kush from cropking seedsHello fellow gardeners!

Of course! Set up is simple enough,Looks like the only thing missing are the buds ...I know, you'll get on to that soon...
Anyway, nice start! It looks like you're well on your way to a nice run. I wouldn't mind a complete walk through on your rdwc set-up. DIY system?

Liking the root structure, are you running your water level just below the net pots.Hello fellow gardeners!

I go about 1-2 inch below the net pods and thanks! I guess ill thank the chiller for that one it made a HUGE differenceLiking the root structure, are you running your water level just below the net pots.
What are you using for your pump? an inline pump? Or are you using a wet sump inside your reservoir.Of course! Set up is simple enough,
I had a 6 plant active aqua dwc kit from the last grow, i purchased 7 more 5gallon (13buckets total one as a reservoir and 12 for plants) homedepot buckets and spray painted them black (thick coat so no light leaks) got 20ish feet of 1 1/2 pvc pipe, christys red hot glue(i used a lot) then i got plastic bulkheads from amazon to fit the pipe.
Used a hole saw on the 5 gallon buckets to make a hole for the bulkhead, screwed and glued them on, cut the pipe to 18” pieces ( i would go 24” next time because i like the extra space to train ect..) glue every piece of the pipe heavily inside the bulkhead and outside the pipe ( you dont want to drain your system to add more glue later trust me its annoying) lastly in the pipe that connects both sides together i made a hole and threaded a water hose adapter in to the pipe and glue it to prevent leaks, attach a hose to the adaptor and the other end of the hose will be in your main reservoir hooked up to an air pump pushing water through(or vise versa pulling the water out of the res) making the circulation
i also have an airstone in each bucket for added oxygen
the chiller is also in the main res with a smaller pump, pumping water thru the chiller back into the res
The pump is so i can disperse the nutrients to all the plants and keeps the water movingWhat are you using for your pump? an inline pump? Or are you using a wet sump inside your reservoir.
That's not what I asked, lol.The pump is so i can disperse the nutrients to all the plants and keeps the water moving
Oh my bad lol i have a wet put but i was us inline next timeThat's not what I asked, lol.
What kind of pump are you using? I asked if you were running a wet sump inside your reservoir or if you're running a dry sump (inline pump). I have a couple of inline pumps that I was going to utilize for a hydro unit.
I had a little root rot in my last grow and it killer my bud size/harvest i really wanted to avoid it this time around so i went a little low on the temps lolSo since you can run live at that temp, I'd increase you ur res Temps. 68 is usually what they run chillers at, but that's in sterile systems. In live systems I'd say most of us will tell you to run 72f. Yet if your system isn't light proof, or if it doesn't provide enough 02 to your roots.. Or anything.. Well you increase your chances of root rot. I'd say go to 68 minimum with the goal of 72f in mind.
Your shit looks great BTW. I only mention this due to growth rates. I promise you that with increased Temps, you can visibly see the growth. Like you know the growth rates you seen when switching to Dwc.. Mind blown... If you go from 65 to 72f successfully,. . Same growth increase.. Mind blowing.
You gonna scrog or you just pulling them down, just so much work finger fucking them like that.
Your nutrients are fine. I wonder why you add great white and if you have tried with just the hydroguard. Idk if it's beneficial or not to add multiple strains of bacteria. I'm sure it will demand more 02 from the water.
