Curious what everyone here uses to track grow data over time.

I’ve been logging basics like temps, humidity, feeding, and light height and found it really helpful for spotting what actually drives changes versus guesswork.

Are people using any dedicated grow apps, or just spreadsheets / notes?

Interested in what’s low-friction and actually gets used long term.

I take basic notes of increased/decreased amounts of nutrients. Light changes. And if I spray something. And thats all more so i can just remember lol! Im not a great grower but i know what they need as far as the ideal parameters go (whether or not i achieve those is anther story!🤣) ✌️

I use a combination of high and low tech. The AC Infinity Controller keeps track of the environment and i keep track of watering and nutes on the clipboard as well as when they were popped, flipped and whatever i feel is important to note.

I have 3 ways to track environmental factors
ACI 69 pro and Vivosun 42E and growvee cube all purpose app.
I also have a maintenance trigger that when 2 or more sensors no longer agree I wait until very stable temp and humidity and put all sensors in the same spot and recalibrate them just like a pH pen. This is normally done at night.
In addition I stock the Vivosun temp and humidity sensor as it is a fairly high failure rate item.
The ACI uses the same sensor and I have 2 environmental boxes that do not have the onboard sensor plugged in as it runs under app control using the main sensor. This gives me 2 spares for the ACI controller.
I have 5 cubes for placement. Incoming air temp outgoing air temp and one with the main sensor placement in the blue solo cup.
2 spares are used for for certain tasks. Sometimes they are used when I suspect a microclimate due to a single plants presentation or perhaps I want to know how high up the wall I can place a register fan to pull fresh colder and less humid air into the room
Measure twice cut a hole in drywall once.

I've been using Copilot to store and track my plant data and help me put together good feedings.

I will say, "time to water Gelato plant #4, pull my last numbers and put together a recommend feeding." I fine tune what I want to do with the feeding and when I'm done I'll summarize by saying "remember that Gelato 4 was watered today. Input values were X and runoff values were Y," and I will note anything about appearance and even upload a picture or two for later reference. When I do bug treatments, up potting and flips, I feed that data into Copilot as well so when I select a plant I'm going to take care of, Copilot will tell me everything about the plant that I told it, and will even throw out suggestions to keep things moving the right direction.

It took some time to get a rhythm going, and the most valuable lesson of all was learning that Copilot won't remember ANYTHING for you unless you explicitly tell it to. So any data you want to store, you begin by saying "remember."

If I had copilot I would have no need to write.
I mean any reason.

At All.

Voice input is a huge bonus, but that English accent AI voice... WTF? I want to hear my AI as the voice of Samuel Jackson or Morgan Freeman, dammit! Or James Earl Jones.... Even Tommy Lee Jones for that matter!

Okay, scratch all of that. The official voice of an AI should be Sam Elliott!!!

I just water the plants in the morning. Checked the par at a few distances ages back as a reference but apart from that it just is what it is temp, humidity, Vpd and feed wise. Have never needed to write or log anything over 6-7 years indoors. If it's relatively comfortable for me Its good enough for the plants whether it be 15c in winter or 32c in summer.

Ill check the light intensity when I go into flower, but that's about it. I'm blessed with a sub tropical location so there's not much I have to do to get the plants in a good window.

The plants tell you more than enough at the end of the day.
