If I had access to pot at that price I would not be growing it. The biggest reason I have is the price of pot at a D. Hell I am not sure but $17 an ounce might be the energy cost per grow for an ounce of pot. 1000 watts for 12 weeks for 10 oz 17 cents per kw hour % of grow at sliding scale for use from seedling to flower decrease time on for photo andI know I have mentioned this before but I can't get over the prices at some local dispensaries. I just got 1 oz of Watermelon Gelato and 1 oz of Cherry Lime Runtz. With the Hippy Hour Discount $37.12. For 2 oz! I used to pay $35 for an 1 oz of Columbian in the mid 70's. Crazy! Gotta love Ann Arbor.

Damn close to energy use per plant for my grow here.
I grow in a 4x8 usually 6 plants. I look at the pre-grow cost in terms of ounce price. Then when I cure 40 oz (5 gallons) of flower it's all justified and upfront cost absorbed.
