Hi everyone
Iv tried Googleing but to much crap come up.
Iv grown In soil for years I use to know what e.c feed to be on, but recently iv changed to coco I was having problems at the start with deficiency and all sorts I stops using cal mag completely and dropped my feed strength, since then all my problems have gone away..
I since switching from soil to coco iv not stated to rethink my e.c feed strength as i was feeding coco the feed strengths I use to give to soil, but this has was giving me lock out some reason and when. Flush & drop me feed strength they pull back but I'm to scared to upp the feed to soon I think I'm not upping it soon enough and I'm missing out on faster growth,, my plants looks health but don't seem to be growing as fast as I'd expect. Special coco..
I wanted to see if you guys can help me tweek my feedings..
Im using Canna Caco the full nutriant line, and Canna Coco medium..
Using tap water the ppm is about 50-60ppm out of the tap
Iiv tried calmag it gives me all sorts of problems, since stopes is all good.
#This is my E.C feed schedual I use.
I start non roted closes in a Clone machine , I add feed right from the start.
I use to set the water feed E.C at 0.6 before roots then just stay on 0.6 for weeks then. That use to work well.. But bow iv decided to set the feed to 0.4 first then when rooted after a week it so upp to 0.6. I can't decide if 0.4 or 0.6 is better?
Anyway the Clone machine is not so much as a problem it's the coco thats my problem..
This was my problem, Clones in Clone machine are on.6 E.C looking really healthy growing well but then when I'd transplant then into canna Coco medium, I'd feed at 0.6 E.C but few days later Clone start to being getting problems looking ill yellowing and defidantcys ect.
Then I checked the E. C of the coco straight out the bag, I did this by running water with ppm of about 50-60 thats no feeed just my tap water. So I measure that run off and it's 0.2 E.C, so I figured when Im feeding them 0.6 E. C it's really 0.8 as the coco is 0.2.. So I now plant into coco and idrop the feed they where on down to 0.4 so that and the 0.2 that in the bagged coco is my 0.6, anyway this seem to be working well so far iv had no lockout or yellowing ect since.
I stay on this for a few weeks then I'm actually feeding 0.6 and I'm staying on 0.6 for weeks as they look good and I'm scared to app the feed and get problems like iv had in the past. I'm 5 days into flower and I'm still only feeding 0.6 E. C, they look healthy but done seem to be growing as fast as I'd like and I'm worried I'm missing out on a lot of growth.
if this was soil I'd be on 0.8/1.0 E. C as the size of the plants would usually take this but coco seem not to and I'm scared to over feed.
Do my feed
Clone machine no roots start on 0.4 evntakky 0.6, whats best!?
Potting up into coco starting on 0.4 then 0.6 then staying on 0.6 for weeks.
I use to up the feed E.C roughly evryweek or 2, now once I'm on 0.6 I get scared of over feeding and I'm upping from 0.6 every 3-4 weeks. By 3rd week of flower in on 0.8 E. C..
Iv been hitting 1.0 1.2 max in flower the 1.2 is with boosts and pk.
The way I'm looking at it lately is well they look healthy, the not got lower yellow leaves of any deficiency, they could be a tad darker green but ik perposly slightly under feeding lately as I'm scare of over doing it
And info and what E.C might be better would be great. Thanks
