Plan was to do a small SOG in my 2x4
With 8x 5 liter pots

Was just wondering what your go to method is when you want to achieve even canopies

Please share all your knowledge

With a true SOG, there's usually no training. High plant count, short veg, one cola per plant. I guess with 8 plants in a 2x4, you might top once.

I tie the top down a few weeks after flip then sometimes i net it other times I don't.

this is the remaining frame of a plant after the top being tied down.

An alternative to topping.

you can check my profile photos, sogging 8 plants in a 2x3 6L pots.

shorth veg, no topping no lst

in a 2x4 tent 10 plants 5x2 in 6L would fit.

2x4 tent 8-10 4 ltr pots. Top once. Scrog net. Flip to 12/12 at 5 wks from seed.

What did you elect to do?

These 4 were only topped once above the fourth node and one has been super cropped a bit. Zero LST. Flipped to 12/12 on day 28. It's even enough for me, each plant has 8 tops. They're under a 200 watt spider farmer board.

I don't mess with the net anymore because I think having 100% access to them is more important than the benefits of the scrog.

I sometimes nip out the tip shoot about 2/3wks after flipping.

It encourages the lower growth up and you get two colas about half the size/height.
