hey folks im planning a new room and i want to use leds. i will have 2 4x4 SCROG nets and was thinking about buying two Kind k5 xl1000 lights am i a fool for wanting to do this or will i actually get nice bud. People claim that the taste and potency is a little better with leds but the yeild will lack. I believe the yeild will lack for sure using led vs hps. The main reasons for me wanting to switch is not having to use HVAC and the savings in the power bill. I was also interested in the Black Dog Phyto max 800. Any other suggestions are welcome.

Those run at approx. 85degrees per fixture.
No way around conditioning your environment in some way. No matter which fixture you choose. That said, for a 4by4 scrog could probably use only one.....half the issue.

PS. check out the gavita 650/750 if you have decent ceiling height.

I have two 4x4 scrog I'll need two. I think the exhaust fan for the room which will be 750cfm will suffice for managing heat issues
