Bolo has a 65 day flowering time ,so does the next strain I am developingThe more I think about it the less I would recommend this. It is going to take a lot of time. You could put a shit ton of clones and flip them super fast. Run 4 cycles a year. You will have to veg that thing for 6 months to fill a 4x8.
It gets hard in a tent because of the stretch. I have had strains grow past my lights. I had to bend the shit out of them. I veg bloom and dry in the same tent. It has 160 gallon bed so there is not much moving things in and out.Bolo has a 65 day flowering time ,so does the next strain I am developing
I will have my plants/clones that I am training in the veg room. I have 3 months to train each set of plants .
within two weeks of the trained plants no matter what size go into the 4x8 tents they will go into 12/12 lighting .
all my plants are in DIY RDWC systems .
Right now I have 3 plants in my4x8 tent and one plant is always going for more light .
to crowded .
They are too big, I waited too long to flip.
As of growing one plant in a 4x8 tent ,,, I have one that is about 30 days old and I am main lining/trimming/training it .
I am going for 4 cycles per yea
I use earth alive/active earthI taught myself how to grow cannabis hydroponically from the mid 80s to the mid-90s with no internet, no mentor, no nothing except high times articles and books I bought
I lost garden after garden, I fought heat & mites, I learned everything there is to know about fucking pH back then the hard way!
Grew in soil for the last decade up until I moved in the end of 21, haven't grown since
Now I'll grow in pro mix when I start my new grow in my new house this fall, right now I just have three plants outside in the vegetable garden but I'm setting up a small indoor just to feed my own head. Haven't finalized the design yet
I go old school HID's and I need their heat here in northern Maine, but I will use leds next summer for a few months and then back to the HIDs
yup I was over my head for about 2 years until I got it figured out . The good part was I was working with real skunk#1 back then and the original Northern lights too which I brought back from California to BostonI use earth alive/active earth
and Plant Pod it has all the micronutrients needed for cannabis.
The PH droplet test kits are cheap and work ...
I like pro mix ... but I still do my own mix with adding topsoil little sand and pea gravel,
Yes, hydroponics without help and not knowing anything about it , you're in overhead for years.
But IMO My plants grow faster than my plants in the greenhouse. Where I am using FF strawberry fields.
Best time to grow is during the winter, the lights heat up my house where I don't have to turn the heater on.
Might be a pain but I love smoking weed .. and I am on the picky side
I agree, that's why the training and the flip in two weeks of being in the tent to 12/12.It gets hard in a tent because of the stretch. I have had strains grow past my lights. Because I have ten hydroponic systems including the cloner. i bought a blue lab PH pen .yup I was over my head for about 2 years until I got it figured out . Perhaps worst of all I shopped at Wormsway in Worcester Massachusetts, old timers who've heard of Operation Green Merchant will know what that means, but I was at least smart enough to pay cash and I took a friend's car there
Agree on the aquarium drops, I've got a draw full of dead meters from high-end to $10 cheapos, I'll never buy another pH meter
