Can a couple of you more experienced growers weigh in?
Here is my question...

If I veg from seed for a few weeks
(5 to 6), do you prefer a 5 or 7 gal for flower?

Been growing for a couple of years and usually use 5 gal pots with coco, hand feeding. Thinking that maybe the roots might be out of room and my yields could be better??

It really depends on how big a plant you are looking to grow. I got a buddy who likes trees, and uses 7-10. I use fives in my hydro system, (OxygenPot), but in soil 3-5 for decent sized plants. Vegging for only 5-6 weeks you shouldn't need anything bigger than that.

If you are in the pot for 90 days or less, I'd go with the 3 gallon pots. If it will be in there 3-4 months, I like 5 gallons. Anything longer than 4 months gets a much larger pot. Those are just my opinions.

IMO, if you are doing auto feeding go with the 3 gals. If you are doing hand feeding like a soil grow, 5 gals.
