Ok so this is my first grow and I'm into the second week of flower and I think it is looking good. What kind of maintenance would you do. Was planning to clean up under them a few dead leaves and small branches. What about the larger leaves on the top would removing some improve the buds? Please advise thanks

At this point I would concentrate on laying the branches out horizontally as much as possible to allow the light to get into the inner branches. I also pick a few strategic leaves that are shading the active bud growing site under them... this is one thing that laying out horizontally helps to accomplish. It's a balancing at, as the leaves also provide needed energy for the plant... so choose your leaves, or even a few lobes off of a leaf. Buds grow where the light hits them directly. By maximizing the bud growth sites exposure to light, it helps them grow bigger... just don't overdo it!
