What went wrong, plant totally dead :(

This auto had been taking an age (16 weeks in) but growing well and looking good.

I left her for 2 days with fresh reservoir like normal and this is what I have come back too:(

All parameters where as they should be and same as the entire grow, roots look fine also.

I'll upload some more pics when I can.

It looks dry. My guess is something happened to keep the irrigation water from getting to the plant. I can't say what it was, though. I'd try to figure out why it didn't use much water. Could there have been a power outage or an equipment failure?

Something similar happened to me last time I planted autos. I honestly still dont know what it was but all dried up, not just one but all of them. I was using a very weird light schedule so I figured it had to do with that, 8-2 I believe? Cant recall. Whats their schedule?

In my case I was able to harvest them before the buds dried, it was only the leaves not attached to the buds but it was pretty similar to yours just in a less advanced state. Mine were not drinking either. I figured I pushed them past their breaking point and they got super stressed so thats why they were not drinking. The only thing that changed compared to other grows was the schedule and they did fine with that schedule until the end almost, it was the last week in a matter of a few days thats why I dont think its something fungal.

Trust me this can happen even if you water plus he said his reservoir was unusually full. I was watering mine and by feeling the weight of the pots I could tell they were not drinking despite the fact that they were drying and had water.

Oh I get what you mean now, but still that wasnt the case for my plants, I had to harvest them 1 week early or so.

It was spreading really fast, it wasnt like when the plants get yellow and suck the nutes at the end of flower.

You need to take a closer look at the solution and the watering schedule. I don't think the lighting will have any effect. Therefore, you should check the branches for breaks. If they are dry, there is nothing more to wait for. If there is mold, it means that you have made a mistake with the solution and the conditions.

There was no mold, the buds were perfectly fine I smoked them all and Im asthmatic, if there was any mold I wouldnt have been able to. Also yes the light schedule can mess with your plants most definetely.

Like I said I was doing an experimental grow with 8/2 light/dark and thats the only variable that changed compared to other grows.

It can be harmful, but only if there are errors in the solution. This is a matter of biology. So I don't think we can solve it today.

I thought about that, but I wasnt flushing so I dont know what could have caused it. My guess is that either they couldnt handle that light schedule because it was too many hours of light or they needed special treatment but they were doing 100% fine until the end, then in 2 days they got all dry. I have no reason to doubt you since I still dont know what went wrong exactly, perhaps the root zone was saturated because I didnt realize they were not eating the nutrients or something.

The nutrient solution must be stable. The elements must be in balance. That's all I know.

All equipment working as it should and reservoir still full, so roots where well submerged in the nutrients.

My lights are on 24/7 schedule.

Plant is running in DWC setup and always has nutrients solution available.

Has me stumped and also a little mad as this plant was doing so well, even if taking a little longer than I expected.

I could live with a slow death with symptoms etc, but she was looking great that all of a sudden this :(

Dont get me wrong Ive done 24/7 without problems, but when there's a problem the lack of sleep really messes them up. They use the night time to heal and fix stress issues.

That's the thing, I didn't notice anything up or stress etc, I always run this setup on a 24/7 schedule, with reduced intensity.
