These are in ocean forest soil

They are 7 weeks old. They were in small 1/2 gallon pots for the first 5 weeks. They stopped growing and started looking a little deficient. I transplanted to 1.5 gallon pots.

I am doing organic Dr earth and worm castings, but I didn't feed them at all until today. I figured there was enough nutes in the soil. Is this a calcium or nitrogen def? Im thinking I should probably water with a tea. Would some Dr. Earth and some black strap molasses be good?

Another thing to note is that even though I have heard you don't need to ph water with organic soil I have been. Problem is my pH was off because the stick wasn't calibrated. I was trying to water between 6.2-6.8 but it was .30 higher. So I was watering with 6.5-7.1. Not sure if this makes a difference when not using salt based nutes. Anyone have any advice?

Looks like whatever is blowing on the plant is causing it.

edit: flip to flower you're gonna be overgrown.

You said you didnt feed at all thats why i think its a defiency. Big and old leaves have biggest change on . Plants will move mobile nutrients from the old leaves to support plant. Looks like p and k missing for me BUT i am no expert at all.
Calcium is a possibility, since high LED light needs extra Cal and Mag.
pH is nearly in range, shouldnt have such an impact.

Maybe this helps

Think about foliar feeding. Might be better for a quick refresh.

I also do an organic grow with worm castings but i added more stuff and i am feeding my plants. 7.5 weeks in.

Yea I could be wrong I literally was just guessing lmao cus it looks like its only on that one plant. But if you didn't feed until the 7th week could be a deficiency. And you don't have to PH but to each his own. Me and @Shaded_One don't PH ours.

edit: is that a heater?

That's just a small fan that rotates set to low. I have a tray of water in front so I don't need to keep the humidifier running. This is my 3x3 tent. For flower I have a 4x4 but it's got autos in it right now. They have a couple more weeks so I was going to veg until then. These are only 6.5 weeks since the seeds were put in the soil. Besides the deficiencies they have been growing like crazy. I only topped last week and the 2 tops on each plant are on their second node. I was thinking I might have killed the beneficial microbes in the soil by letting it dry out too much.

Yeah I use tap water so I have never needed to add calmag before, but I may need some. I will look into foliar feeding. On my last grow I top dressed at least once by this point. For these I just transplanted 3 times, but the fresh soil wasn't enough to keep up with the demand of these plants.

This is the only plant that has this particular problem, but they are all starting to get some brown spots on their leaves. Some lightening near the edges and the tips pointing down. You have to look close, but its there when you look for it. The bigger one is very obvious though. From searching around I see potassium and calcium being the major causes along with pH. The pH shouldn't be an issue so I am thinking its one of the other 2.

You can use gypsum for calcium and epsom salt for magnesium

Yea if you feed it what it needs it'll recover in like 10 days. Just don't expect it to be instant. @Shaded_One what deficiency you think he has?

I got a nutrient tea brewing in my bathroom right now. 1/4 cup of flower girl, 1/4 cup of bloom, 1 cup of worm castings, 1 tbs of BS molasses in 3 gallons of water. I'm thinking if I give them each a little of this tomorrow it will hold them off until the top dressing nutes become available to them

I actually saw that while looking at leaf problems on another website, but I thought that couldn't be possible. Still don't think that's correct. I've had broad mites years back when I ran hydro. The leaves curled and looked papery. These definitely seem deficient. Some of the plants are lush and some have trace signs like small brown spots where the leaf is dying like a burn. Here are photos of some of the other leaves and plants

the glossy curled leaves combined with the fact that this is only on one plant makes me lean heavily towards insects (move that fan or heater to be sure)

brown spots are typically Calcium related if they are small dots

Shaded might be right, one pic looks like your big leave but there is not enough curling like on the pics?? Not sure though.

Or maybe its a combination of some pics/deficencies shown here. I think the Tea is a good start. Maybe cut those dead leaves off, they did their job if deficency. Cutting them of will also stop mites spreading a bit...
Maybe you should treat your plants against both threats ?
Good luck anyways

I believe it's nitrogen toxicity... I had to send him a link that wasn't allowed on the forum

I cut off 2 of the bad looking leaves and examined them with my digital microscope. I don't see anything resembling a mite. Can't find any oblong golf ball looking eggs either. I am going to examine more closely when I get home later. Problem is all my plants have different looking deficiency looking problems. Here's a photo of a couple in my auto tent

My votes for excess nitrogen. It can cause a def when you feed too much of one thing. Those leaves are dark and curled.

Looks like mites or thrips maybe they are very hard to see think a grain of rice but 1000x smaller. That's my guess
