But still seems to be yellow.

.
Part of the problem might be the hurricane force winds you have pointed directly at them.

maybe bad aeration in soil. i see that when my pots stay water logged too long. try using a stick to poke some holes into the soil....don't tear up the roots, just to get more oxygen into the rootzone. i see a good amount of perlite so im at a loss and just going off what i've seen. my soil looks very much like yours with high perlite, but still get water logged roots.

So what would u say would be ideal position and speed.

All for criticism but surely that's not the problem.haha

Thanks mate and I get what u mean.
It's a very firm soil and makes sense that it might be the problem
I will certainly give it a try

Will alter the fan in there.

Also the pH in run off is around 5.9

also at the risk of starting a fight, in soil you shouldn't be getting a lot of run-off....it's not coco, you're washing out soluble nutes when you water soil to run-off

Def hungry , could be salt build up do feed every water? How much run off do you get? Mayb some decent still pics of a whole plant might help ? If they were mine I would want to know the ec of run off ? If it much higher than your starting water you have salt build up and your plant is not up taking the nutes you provide

Only if it’s organic , feeding bottled nutes you want the runoff to prevent build up

I personally feed the whole cycle just cut back at the end - but there’s a ton of guys who believe in flushing for sure.

i only start feeding when i start to see signs of deficiency.

the size of the container, soil fertility level, and strain/pheno requirements dictate when i start to use bottle nutes in my soil container grows. first couple of months the soil has all the plant needs, all im doing is watering them, but early to mid flower yeah...either i top dress or i say fk it and just start bottle feeding. Bottle nutes in soil from the start isn't necessarily a wrong way to do things....but it's not something i would promote....i say wait till you know the soil has started to run out of stuff, then it turns into a DTW (drain to waste) grow.

Some plants need a lot of N early in flower. When they don't get it in a timely manner, they just take it from lower leaves and it seems like there's no stopping it once that window in early flower has passed.

So true, and I'm in bad form in saying it's the very sign i look for cuz the plants dont use a lot of nitrogen during flower, so i dont need to dump a bunch or worry. That's what I've read, they don't use as much N in flower. I still dose N but not much.
