They look really bad as you know, hard to say if they'll recover you sure there were rooted? Those were pretty tall clones if they were healthy once I'd of transplanted to final container 2wks ago. Sorry.

They were very healthy 2 days ago when i topped. I noticed a little bit of droop before i left for work yesterday and figured they needed a little bit of water. Is there any possibility of saving these?

Some of the smaller lower leaves are dry to the touch. I hope it was just a late watering and a wayyy too early top. I just hope there is a chance of saving them. These were the more important plants of what i have rn

Would also check light intensity, along with what others have said. Re-pot, saturate a good amount but don't make final medium fully saturated. The advanced state of your roots in the small cup and as you said a late watering is likely the issue.

plant that size in small cup may need two watering per day.

soil look dry to me on most photo while root cube look moist.

i personnally would have transplanted plant that size to much bigger pots long ago ...

also first and last photo base of trunk seem brownish ? kinda like fungi or bacterial attack

last photo soil seem dry and root cube overly moist ?

second photo root cube also seem more moist than the soil.

Rooted or not that doesn't happen with topping

My initial thoughts were it looks quite dry, if it's still got life/turgid it should survive they're very resilient

I don't know the term for the brown hard veins at the base that form in later life and on beefy stalks but I think that is the discoloration in the photo fortunately. Stems look healthy, as coconutz said its not from the topping. Combined with the topping this will be stressful. I thought the root cubes looked oddly moist compared to soil also. Looks comparable to discoloration I get from using flora nova nutes on rockwool.

They'll pull out of it. Don't over water, anything thirsty is at risk of drowning.

I have to correct myself, I didn't look close enough.... Those are started in raw soil? Anyone think compaction could be an issue here? Could this be addressed at transplant or non issue at stage of growth?

Still say thirsty plant 100%

Those look large for a top or a clone. I cut mine much smaller. When did you top them?

It's hard to tell, but I think they're in soil plugs.
