thank you is there a particular reason a certain benefit to waiting untill the 5 nodeI like going between the 5th and 6th. Do effectively removing only the 6th node. And preferably before the miniature 7th nodestarts to grow.
A good reason? No.thank you is there a particular reason a certain benefit to waiting untill the 5 node
thanks man lst time i top a plant i vege for like 3 months and went non stop toping and got 9 oz out her and it was my best stuff to dateA good reason? No.
Most growers will tell you to leave at least 4 because the first 2-3 nodes typically won't account for much flower in the final plant. I do 5 just to make myself feel better. Also I typically trim the lowest set of fan leaves a few weeks after the first topping. And then top a second time roughly 2 weeks after the first topping.
There is no real limit to the amount of times you can top a plant. Every topping will cause the plant to grow just a little wider. That's why some plants you see are tall and skinny and some are 8ft wide. Go to wide and you might have to wrap it in netting just to keep it from drooping to the ground.
Tldr; every grower is superstitious. Do what feels right. Sunlight and water makes weed grow not what socks you had on during planting.
