When do you start counting flower days

Just wondering what day start counting your flowering. Is day 1 the day you switch to 12/12 or is it the day you first see bud formation. Wondering because I’m wanting to give straight water for the last 2 weeks of flower. Any info helps! Posting some photos of the bud below I’m on day 43 after switching to 12/12

Thank you bro I know it’s hard to tell but would you be able to guesstimate how many weeks these girls got left? Trichs aren’t milky yet at least not that i can tell.
I use a vivosun 30x and 60x jeweler scope

Don't go straight water until the leaves start giving you fall colors. Yellow and red and such.

I'm sure most growers start counting when they flip to 12/12. It's what I use when discussing it. For my own calculations, however, I start the clock when buds first show, or about 10 to 12 days after the flip.

I do got some leaves starting to turn yellow just like 3 fan leaves and the colors are starting to show

For flower. When I flip to 12.12. Sometimes depending on how tall the plants are ill flip 12.12 on a Friday Saturday or Sunday I'll start my day 1 on Mondays. Always start a new week so I don't forget.
